2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Hmm, my decision would be decided on the combo percentages I had with all of those players against the guys I already drafted.
But in a vacuum, I probably take Mahomes value and stack Kelce then Hollywood, since you’ve started 0-2-3-0 and aren’t hurting at RB or WR.
Mahomes is my 2nd highest owned QB, but I couldn't pass it up.
Mahomes, Tua, Dart
Saquon, Kaleb, Irving, Dowdle, Ford, Corum
Reek, Devonta, Godwin, Burden, Hollywood, Higgins, NWI, Roman
Kelce, Pitts, Fannin
Yeah, I've been punting QB to the 8th round or later a lot, so still sitting on 14% AR mostly looking for additional upside in 3 QB builds.
Part of me feels like I need to back that off and part of me feels like I'm not really concerned about Dimes, even if AR isn't that much better. I think there is going to be a lot of variance that ultimately decides who will be starting weeks 15-17, which is all I truly care about. But these kind of QB rooms are where I've been mostly adding him. Something like the above or rooms like Tua/AR/Stafford, Maye/AR/Carr, Love/AR/Geno, etc. I think I'll "even" it out a little bit by doing a few 3 QB Dimes builds with Colts pass catchers/JT. I think you posted one a few days ago.

I like it. The 2nd/3rd tier of QBs on DK definitely seem expensive compared to UD.
Finally!
Dak, Fields, Maye
Achane, Chuba, Najee, White, Guerrendo, Allgeier
Lamb, Wilson, Flowers, Reed, Hunter, NWI, Gabe, Tucker
Ferguson, Henry, Juwan
This was a fun one. Didn't draft a QB until the 11th, but my favorite part was one of the guys reached a full 2.5 to 3 rounds on 9 of his players (40 spots on Allgeier and 34 on NWI).
Penix, Tua, Darnold
Bijan, Chuba, Rhamondre, Corum, Gordon III, Mattison
Reek, JSN, Worthy, Jeudy, Kupp, Mooney, Zaccheaus, Robinson
Kelce, Gesicki, Kmet
Sometimes you just have to get your guys. Fun team.
What I'm finding works pretty well on DK is trying to get 3 RBs by Round 9, and then the standard 4 WRs by Round 7. That gives you a lot of flexibility in regards to when you draft QB/TE. You can take 2 QBs or 2 TEs early and still put together a strong team.
I also think you can get away with 3 WRs before Round 7 if you start WR/WR.
It's just fun playing with the different combos.
Got a nice bowers fall also was 1 pick from getting Godwin over Deebo
Dak, Geno, Darnold
Kyren, Chuba, Skattebo, Dobbins, Martinez, Blue
CD, Rashee, Deebo, Golden, Kupp, Shaheed, Ayomanor, Tucker
Bowers, Otton, Fannin
Thanks to Achane and CMC being pulled to 9/10, I got a somewhat unique combo to start.
Stroud, Penix, Dimes
Breece, Cook, Chuba, Bigsby, Guerendo, Allgeier
Nico, BTJr, Waddle, Hunter, Mooney, AD, MWill, Zaccheaus
Jonnu, Gesick, Schultz
Damn, Nico and BTJ is real nice. I'd like one of those.
Elite
Love, Trevor, Tua
Achane, Cook, Kaleb, Warren, Lloyd
BTj, DJM, Waddle, Reed, Wicks, Thielen, Dyami, Gabe, NWI
Njoku, Fannin, Musgrave
Costly QB investment. I heavily stacked. I wanted Strange, but he went one pick before I took Fannin.
Herbert, Penix, Dart
Jacobs, Walker, Najee, Dowdle, Ford, Wright
Lamb, Ladd, Flowers, Reed, Mooney, Pop, Restrepo, AD
Andrews, Pitts, Fannin
Any chance the giants actually roll with Jameis as their starter?
I would probably take Nabers over ARSB if they did
Had one of my worst drafts…
Lamar fell 10 picks past ADP so I picked him in a spot that was not good for my structure. Don’t think I recovered well
Lamar, Carr, Dimes
Gibbs, ETN, Sampson, Spears, Dobbins, Kendre
Ladd, Godwin, Jeudy, Aiyuk, Downs, Bateman, Diggs, Nuk, Restrepo
McBride, Otton

We've all been there and taken what looks like, and sometimes is, really good value. Only to regret it later on. For me, once I lock up TE early with McBride, then I'm going to focus on RB/WR before going to QB.
Only exception might be if I was picking at 1 or 12 and get those B2B picks where I can go Lamar/Flowers to get that stack.
Just followed it up with one of my favorite drafts, heels was that you in the 1 spot?
Herbert, Tua, Geno
Bijan, Chuba, Javonte, Corum, Giddens, Kendre
Ladd, Tee, D Smith, Waddle, Meyers, Golden, Ayomanor, Bech
Warren, Engram, Arroyo
That's a fun one. And na, that wasn't me. I wish I was drafting right now. I work in tax, so I'm working today instead lol.
Strong enough at wr? Should I have gone 9 instead of higbee or Shipley?
Mahomes, Stafford, Carr
Kyren, Chuba, Skattebo, Javonte, Sampson, Shipley
Puka, Worthy, Pickens, Egbuka, Shaheed, Hollywood, Nuk, AD Mitchell
Bowers, Juwan, Higbee
I think it’s fine. A couple of profiles/situations might be shaky comboed together, but draft capital wise, you had 6 through 11.
I could have gone Chase, Tee, Burrow but went with Ladd over Tee. Mistake or okay to be a little different there?
Burrow, Herbert
Chuba, Henderson, Tracy, Bigsby, Neal, Corum
Chase, Ladd, Rice, Kupp, Kirk, Pittman, MWill, Iosivas, Malik
Pitts, Gesicki, Gray
I prefer Ladd to Tee so think that’s good
Got destroyed by the qb avalanche
Fields, Ward, Carr
Bucky, Kyren, Chuba, Allgeier, B Smith
Chase, Zay, Reed, Burden, Shaheed, Hunter, Ayomanor, Mwill, Tucker
Kelce, Goedert, Fannin
