2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Wasn't planning on taking Tua, but got him 31 spots past ADP. Passed on the Shakir stack to get Waddle 10 spots past ADP.
Josh, JJ, Tua
Jacobs, Kamara, Rhamondre, Mason, Giddens
JJ, Devonta, Addison, Waddle, Coleman, Johnston, MWill, AD, Turpin
Andrews, Kmet, Arroyo
I think this becomes extremely good if Mondre is a wr instead (and one of the later WRs is a rb), but I like it
I'm looking to fill a dynasty league team. This league is 100% 2p2 members, and I'd like to keep it that way, if possible. The league has been going since 2021.
The platform is Sleeper.
It's a 10 team league, start QB/2RB/3WR/TE/Flex/SF. The scoring is quite standard. It's PPR, no TEP, 4 points passing TD, no special bonuses or other unique scoring, etc.
Bench is 16 spots, IR is 3 spots, and taxi squad is 4 spots.
The taxi squad is rookies only and has to be set prior to the start of the season. If you activate a player during the season, you cannot replace the open taxi spot until the following season with a new rookie.
The buy in is $50, and we always pay a season ahead. Thus, the prior manager has already covered 2025 dues. 2026 dues will be owed prior to the start of the rookie draft. The rookie draft is scheduled to begin at 8 am EST on Monday May 12th. The rookie draft is a 24 hour slow clock.
If you trade picks for a future season that hasn't been paid yet, dues are owed at the time of the trade for that respective season.
The team is
Kyler, Nix, Penix, Tua, Russ
Kyren, Tracy, Swift, Mason, Dowdle, Ford, Lloyd, McLaughlin, Brooks
BTJ, Olave, Meyers, Mooney, Bateman, QJ, Nuk, LMC
Kittle, Kmet
The rookie draft is 5 rounds. The team has all 5 rookie picks and is picking from the 1.03. They also have the 5.04.
The team still has all picks for 2026 and 2027.
Let me know if anyone is interested.
I’m in, been trying to get more dynasty teams
Sweet. I'll DM the league invite link.
My most common build lately has been 3 earlyish RBs. I planned on being a wr slappy again, but the values on RBs are wild it seems and wr is more spread out. Like it doesn’t feel like you can get too buried in an avalanche. Maybe I’m overvaluing some of the mid round WRs though.
Im guessing this will change post draft once the rb landscape is more clear
Mahomes, Stafford, Carr
Jeanty, Breece, Brown, Corum, Blue
Puka, Olave, Deebo, Golden, Hollywood, Keenan, Bech, Restrepo, Gabe
Kelc
I don't know if I like having Mahomes without Rice or Worthy, but otherwise it's a nice team.

The WRs available at that time would've been a bigger reach than I'd want to make at that point. Rhamondre and Najee are 2 backs I wasn't high on last year that I would like at a decent clip just because of the coaching changes for them. I'm a little weary on Najee though just because they only gave him a 1-year deal.
Got a decent hero rb build
Kyler, Caleb, Rodgers
Jacobs, Benson, Sampson, Giddens, Corum, Shipley, Blue
Chase, Jamo, Rome, Pickens, Ridley, Keenan, Bech, M Wilson
McBride, Njoku
I have a couple of Mahomes without Worthy/Rice where he fell to the late 8th, and I felt like I should take him.
I cannot wait for more post-draft clarity with all of the RB situations.
Oh if only Fields weren't taken by someone 15 spots early.
Goff, Penix, Trevor
Breece, BRob, Pacheco, Ford, Sampson, B. Smith
BTJ, London, Wilson, Addison, Mooney, Tolbert, Dyami, NWI
LaPorta, Pitts, Knox
DK is the QB wild west lol. I took Burrow at the 4/5 turn on UD yesterday with Chase and thought of you. I'm also in a slow where I just took Tee at the 2/3 turn with Chase. Let's hope Burrow comes back.

In that draft I posted earlier with the JJ, Allen start. Burrow made it to pick 51 and Dak made it to 125. That literally never happens when I have Chase or Lamb.
Maybe you'll have better luck with the way things shake out post-draft.
That game has been insane.
I got judge in every lineup today but unfortunately he’s super high owned .
Just finished this slow and thought it was interesting.
Love, Bryce, Ward
Gibbs, Jacobs, Chuba, Pollard, Etienne
DJM, Davante, Ridley, Egbuka, Doubs, Coker, Royals, Kyle Williams
Strange, Sanders, Arroyo, Musgrave
Might be too weak at WR.
I have Judge and Suarez in my season long pts league and am projected to win by over 100pts despite -30 from Nestor Cortes

I think I probably skip Pollard for wr in this build, but I don’t think you’re dead at wr or anything
Yeah, that was my first thought upon review, either skip Pollard or Etienne. I took Pollard since it was 8 picks past ADP and also had Ridley. So after that happens, need to take WR instead of Etienne.
Pittman was the only WR between Pollard/Etienne. Top WRs after Etienne were Hunter, Kirk, Bateman, Diggs, Coleman, Mims, etc.

I like diggs a lot at adp.
I had been fading him outside of big ADP falls. I’ll be catching up given the contract and landing spot. I’ve taken him multiple times since that was announced.
Speaking of Diggs . It’s crazy that he got hurt a week after Aiyuk and Diggs will be ready week 1 and Aiyuk is gonna miss half the year .
