2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Mahomes, AR, Geno
Kyren, Henderson, Pacheco (first share!), Mason, Martinez, Blue
Nico, Worthy, Sutton, Aiyuk, Pittman, Keenan, Ayomanor, AD Mitchell, Tucker
Bowers, Higbee
I wouldn't mind getting a few shares of Pacheco since he's always falling and the upside could be there. I just have 0 read on if he's still going to be a Chief.
DK added a new $1 contest (20-max) if you already maxed the other one. $3,000 to 1st
Just got Chase at 1. Someone pulled Higgins at 19. So in other words, Burrow isn't making it back to me.
lol you’re running so bad. I saw a post on X from a DK draft where Burrow made it to 69.
Hopefully you can get a 1, 2, 3 at some point. I think it’s fine. You just need your 4/5 pick to beat the 2/3 pick.

It's so crazy. I swear I could pull up almost every draft where someone else gets Chase at 1, and Burrow falls to them in the 4th.
Anyways this was my start compared to the guy that pulled Higgins early and then obviously drafted Burrow.
Really happy with this one
Herbert, Dak, Rodgers
Kyren, Hampton, Mixon, Ollie, Trev ETN, Blue
CD, Ladd, Pickens, Golden, Shaheed, Doubs, Ayomanor, Mwill
Jonnu, Ferguson, Pitts
That's a really good one.
Wright. I think he has way more upside.
He has all the panthers though lol .
I felt bad for the guy that drafted Bryce after Thielen and Legette were off the board only to have this guy draft Coker right after.
My biggest decision point was Egbuka v Herbert in R9. I had just drafted Goff 2 rounds earlier and figured I could always draft Tua, Penix, or Bryce as my QB2 if Herbert didn't come back around.
Goff, Tua, Sanders
Gibbs, Bucky, Skatt, Dowdle, Benson, Corum
Ladd, Jameson, Flowers, Waddle, Egbuka, Palmer, NWI, Calvin
Andrews, Pitts, Helm
Been getting an annoying amount of AR due to qb runs and needing an out
Purdy, Stafford, AR
Achane, Hampton, Mixon, Dowdle, B Smith
Puka, DJM, Deebo, Aiyuk, Downs, Keenan, Doubs, K Williams, Savion
Warren, Henry, Chig

I'm taking Egbuka in that spot most times.

AR is way more feasible in these pre-draft contests. I'm not sure what I'll do when we are back to 18 rounds, but it'll probably just be a fade of him and Dimes. It's another reason why I've pushed my exposure in these pre-draft contests.
Something I'm working on that helps me better visualize the draft board and where QBs are going by ADP. It also shows which QBs are most likely to be available based on your starting pick to help better plan out drafts.
For example, if you're picking 1-4, then you are often deciding between Ladd and Reek in R2. Ladd makes more sense since it's more likely Herbert will be available in R9.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't draft Tyreek since
A. You don't always have to stack your WR1 with their QB
B. It's not uncommon for Tua to fall to the 12/13 turn.
C. It's not the biggest reach if you did want to draft him in R11
Big day, I’m officially a red badge! Haha
In my first draft with it, I got an emergency work call and had to auto draft the last 11 picks haha
Stroud, Darnold, Rodgers
Bucky, Mixon, Spears, Tuten, Corum, B Smith
Chase, JSN, Tet, Pickens, Ridley, Kirk, Mwill, MVS
Jonnu, Kelce, Schultz
I think Tuten is another player that may be the worst on the board at price, but I see the upside so trying to be at like 3-4%. Here I got sniped on Sampson and Tuten was available 10 picks past ADP so figured this was my chance to get a share
Nice double stacks
Caleb, Stroud, Carr
Achane, Breece, Najee, Skatt, White
Nico, DJM, Odunze, Reed, Kirk, Higgins, Ayomanor, Slayton, Robinson
Loveland, Strange, Gray
Dude drafted 5 QBs in his first 6 picks so a lot of chaos in this one. Still think I came out okay even though I had to pull Penix and Tua about a round each.
Penix, Tua, Dart
Bijan, Mixon, Judkins, Pollard
AJB, Hill, Flowers, Addison, Doubs, Palmer, Slayton, Malik
Andrews, Pitts, Helm
Yeah, you simply have to secure your QBs in rooms like that.
Who are the other 2 players?
Oops. The other 2 were RBs, Neal and Giddens
Wasn't planning on taking Tua, but got him 31 spots past ADP. Passed on the Shakir stack to get Waddle 10 spots past ADP.
Josh, JJ, Tua
Jacobs, Kamara, Rhamondre, Mason, Giddens
JJ, Devonta, Addison, Waddle, Coleman, Johnston, MWill, AD, Turpin
Andrews, Kmet, Arroyo
My most common build lately has been 3 earlyish RBs. I planned on being a wr slappy again, but the values on RBs are wild it seems and wr is more spread out. Like it doesn’t feel like you can get too buried in an avalanche. Maybe I’m overvaluing some of the mid round WRs though.
Im guessing this will change post draft once the rb landscape is more clear
Mahomes, Stafford, Carr
Jeanty, Breece, Brown, Corum, Blue
Puka, Olave, Deebo, Golden, Hollywood, Keenan, Bech, Restrepo, Gabe
Kelce, Loveland, Juwan
