2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
An RB/RB/RB start and 4 TEs. It's a weird one, but I kind of like it. It'll all depend on the WRs. Probably not strong enough.
Maye, Stroud, Ward
Saquon, JT, Bucky, Dobbins (28 past ADP), Kendre
Rome, Olave, Ridley, Golden, Kirk, McMillan, Tre, Badger
Henry, Schultz, Fannin, Chig
I like it, who is badger?
Elijah Badger. He’s getting a lot of sleeper buzz. Search him on X. Probably a day 3 guy, but he could have day 2 talent upside.
And **** newguy, just saw that Armstead is retiring. The Phins should take o line with every draft pick.
At least the first 2 picks.
I know this is not the ideal correlation but Goff fell 24 picks past adp and I had Monty, is that enough of a fall to take him?
Herbert, Goff, Tua
Bijan, Hampton, Monty, Sampson, J Hunter
Ladd, Reek, Godwin, Meyers, Mooney, QJ, Bech, Mwill, K Williams
Jonnu, Kmet, Fannin
In terms of getting raw points at a discount, maybe it's okay, but not good for correlation purposes, considering Monty only has 4 rec TDs in 7 years, and 0 with the Lions. I'd pass on Goff. You can always get Tua and Geno.
Oh yeah and Penix. It's still a good looking team, but I think it'd look better if you could've got Mason or Bigsby over Goff.
Yeah it’s probably fine for advance rate purposes but doesn’t feel good in the playoff weeks.
I think my next stand is on TE's. I'm going to continue drafting Bowers and McBride in good spots, but if I miss on them, I'll be waiting until the 2nd half to get my TE1 with the exception if someone falls quite a bit or for stacking purposes.
So basically fading Laporta, Kittle, and Hock? Or more than that?
Auto’d the first 4 picks, but basically exact picks I would’ve made. Kinda like this one
Allen, JJM
Jeanty, Henderson, Harvey, Allgeier, Martinez, Ty Johnson
ARSB, Adams, Sutton, Shakir, Pittman, J Higgins, Ayomanor, Bech, K Williams
Hock, Warren, Arroyo
Way more lol. Although I don't know how much fading I'll actually do. There's going to be times I have Flowers and will get Andrews or Likely, or Achane/Reek/Waddle and draft Jonnu.
I'll still draft Warren at value or a little early if I need a TE at that point since lolrookies.
Spoiler
Some of those prices are gross. LaPorta, Kelce, Goedert, and Likely.

That's a fun one. I might have done 7 RBs and 8 WRs but just a small nitpick.
I just drafted this one. Going to need some RB run good.
Caleb, Brock,
Jeanty, Mason, Tuten, Rachaad, Allgeier, Ekeler, Shipley, Kendre
Rice, Odunze, Olave, Jennings, Egbuka, Keenan, Horton, DRob
Bowers, Goedert
People continue to hate Goedert. I got him at 156. Also, first time drafting DRob. I had no idea he landed in SF lol.
I'm at 8% DRob. Thought it was a decent pick up for them.
The prices on Njoku and Goedert make no sense to me, feel like they both go ~ 20 picks too late
I don’t get it either, though, I don’t have a ton of Njoku. I’m usually hitting other positions in that range and the QB uncertainty makes me a little uneasy. He’s at a good price, though.
I’m overweight Goedert.
My 100th big board
Caleb, Maye, Shaddeur
Saquon, Kaleb, Sampson, Allgeier, Harvey, Chubb
Tee, DJM, Zay, Tet, Jeudy, Diggs, Atwell, Hollins
Njoku, Kmet, Gesicki
Shedeur to Clev, one time.
It does sound like the Titans are locked into Ward. I’ll be drafting the rest of the way on that assumption.
100 big boards (+6 littles). Here are my thoughts on how I’ve drafted so far at each position

Not enough - Lamar, Jayden, Burrow (all sub 2%)
Favorite picks - Caleb, Dak, Maye, Herbert
Rb

Not enough, Gibbs, Bijan, J Hunter, Mason
Favorite Picks - Saquon, Sampson, Harvey, Martinez, Kyren
Wr

Favorite Picks - Bech, Ayomanor, Hunter, Rashee, Jeudy, AJB
Te

Not enough - Bowers (6%), Hock (5%), Laporta (4%)
Favorite Picks - McBride, Bowers, Njoku, Goedert
I've been in 3 drafts on DK with Herzig and recently watched Liam do 3 drafts on DK.
Liam seems to reach a little bit more at times. Nothing egregious, just like 7 to 10 spots at most. The one thing they both have in common is taking 4 RBs within the first 10 rounds.
Timed out and drafted AR by mistake. Not the worst thing though. Past ADP and I still got the stack. I would've drafted a RB though.
Goff, Caleb, AR
Gibbs, Walker, Henderson, Kaleb, Dobbins, Shipley
Hill, DJM, Jamo, Mooney, QJ, Wicks, Ayomanor, AD
Kraft, Kmet, Gray
Value city. Bijan (4), Allen (9), Nix (25), and Kmet (14) all went past ADP.
Allen, Nix
Bijan, Chase, Warren, Mondre, Giddens, Hill
London, Sutton, Waddle, Ridley, Coleman, Palmer, Iosivas, AD, Malik
Kraft, Pitts, Kmet
Kyler, Dak, Dimes
Jeanty, Walker, Jones, Sampson, Allgeier
London, MHJ, Evans, Deebo, Diggs, Pierce, Ayomanor, M Wilson, Turpin
Njoku, Ferguson, Fannin
Dart to the Steelers, one time, dealer.
Hurts, Fields, Dart
Tracy, Warren, Pacheco, Bigsby, Guerendo, Martinez
Puka, AJB, Wilson, Godwin, Deebo, Tre, NWI, Zaccheaus
Kraft, Muth, Helm
Anyone try to predict W17 games? Have to think it's certainly possible to get it down to a few most likely matchups, and could be an advantage before the actual schedules come out. It's too late for me now, but maybe for next off season drafts.
