2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
As the days go by, I get more concerned that Dobbins will be back too.
Another sf, probably only gonna do a couple more. It has been a nice change of style though
Fields, Bryce, Dart, Gabriel
Jacobs, Henderson, Tracy, Charbs, Braelon, Dowdle, Corum
Chase, Nabers, Tet, Addison, Bryant, Atwell
Njoku, Goedert, Henry
Chiefs onslaught
Mahomes, Penix, AR
Jeanty, Pacheco, Jones, Braelon, Shipley, Kendre
London, Rice, Worthy, Pittman, Bateman, Bech, Tutu, Malik, Felton
LaPorta, Ferguson
And here’s my last one, I think I basically did 0qb or hero qb on all of them
Wasn’t able to correlate everything unfortunately
Herbert, AR, Dart, Rudolph
Hampton, Monty, Brob, Tuten, Hill, Hunt, Keaton
JJ, CD, Ladd, Downs, Kirk, QJ
Hock, Strange, Taylor
I have a lot of early QB, because so far I have 52% combined Allen, Lamar, Jayden, and Hurts through 29 drafts. It's good to run hot on those QBs. I hope it continues.
Haha nice! I only got 2 elites in 15 drafts. My Strat was basically top4 QBs or punt
Trevor, Tua, Dart
JT, Pollard, Tracy, ETN, Wright, Shipley
Puka, Tee, Hunter, Zay, Waddle, McMillan, Slayton, Malik
Kelce, Strange, Dissly
I lied, I can’t stop drafting sf haha
Maye, JJM, Tua, Rudolph
Gibbs, Jeanty, Mondre, Allgeier, Braelon, James
Adams, Waddle, Addison, Diggs, Pittman, Pop, R Wilson
Hock, J Ferguson, Otton
Stroud, Tua, Dart
Breece, Walker, Jones, Shipley, Hunter, James
Nabers, Nico, Adams, Waddle, Higgins, McMillan, QJ, NWI
Kelce, Loveland, Otton
My final Pug. I hate myself for being into Swift now.
Spoiler
Jayden, Caleb
Breece, TreVeyon, Swift, Tank, Giddens, Sanders
Nico, BTJ, Deebo, Downs, Hollywood, Doubs, Dyami
Loveland, Kraft, Higbee
My other two Pugs. Which one do you like most?
Spoiler
Mahomes, Herbert, Stroud
Mixon, Jones, Spears, Roschon, Rico, Brashard
Malik, AJB, Rice, Jamo, Deebo, Tre
Engram, Schultz, Conklin
Spoiler
Josh, Trevor
Kamara, Najee, Bhayshul, Mondre, Justice, JK, Sanders
Nico, London, Reek, Pickens, Golden, Shakir
Strange, Henry, Higbee

1st, but probably would prefer the 2nd if Stroud was a Te and a later pick was qb
SF - I think my basic strategy is going to be 2 QBs in the first 6 rounds, and then WRs and RBs based on ADP value while pushing TEs.
Hurts, Tua, Milroe
Judkins, Pacheco, Warren, Wright, Giddens, Hunter, Keaton
BTJ, AJB, Rice, Reek, DeVonta, Downs, Wicks
Kraft, Goedert, Arroyo

Team #2 for me. RB room is much stronger . I might've opted for a 2-7-7-2 build though. Higbee is basically Henry 2.0, so I don't think taking him adds any extra upside.
Yeah, I wasn't sure about Stroud. He fell 20 picks past ADP. I also feel like floor chasing is better in the smaller contests, especially for getting to the finals. But I'm not sure about that either.

I think it's a good strategy. I like adding one more late contingent QB here, but it can work if Hurts is your anchor and Tua stays healthy.

I can't decide if I'm Higbee pilled because of the Rams comments or if I'm being a fish. Both McVay and Snead have had positive things to say regarding Higbee and his role this offseason. He also put together some nice games coming back off of the injury last year. I think he has sneaky low end TE1/high end TE2 upside. My read is that he's got a good shot to be the #3 in this offense, with contingency if something happens to Puka or Davante. I know they added Terrance, but I think that was more about the future.
I like Higbee and think he's fine in a vacuum. I just don't think he adds a lot to your team that you aren't already getting from Henry.
Fair enough, I just don't trust the weekly consistency of Strange and Henry, so was more looking for floor than ceiling there. That could be the wrong process.
Multiple rookies, including Terrance, and guys like Sanders, Theo, Juwan, etc. still on the board there where I took Higbee.
Switched to DK for one. This RB room could be the nuts. Got a lot of good value across the board in the mid rounds.

Very nice!
one more SF with a whole bunch of W17 correlation
Baker, Herbert, Milton

Out of the three you posted number one is my least favorite. You have nice QB's. I don't like the RB room. Your bottom three RB's aren't strong enough to sustain a not so robust top 3. I like the WR's. I'm very high on Nico and love BTJ. I don't like the TE's. I don't like relying on a rookie TE as my number one unless it was Brock Bowers. It could take a while for Loveland to get it going.
Teams two and three are close for me. I agree with Jimmy that I'd like team two a lot more if Stroud was a TE. My concern with team two is that I would expect Engram to miss some games due to injury. I'd like to have a stronger number two. Since it's close between the two I'll take the Josh team for his nuclear upside.
