I'm pivoting to Gibbs, but won't be crossing out CMC entirely.

CMC lasts all year and then a bye before the playoffs and now a back issue. So annoying

1st place in my work league and play the 8th place team who starts Pitts and Trevor Lawrence. What a dumb game.

No surprise - any fantasy receivers on the Colts are un-rosterable now.

I’m scared to check my pods. Haven’t looked at anything yet. This week has been absurd.

I was curious about my ETN shares, so I looked it up and at least I'm not drawing dead yet. The 191 team also has Waddle and Achane.

Today was a bloodbath for my best ball teams, after crushing rd 1, im only advancing 18 out of a baseline 28 teams in rd2, which is basically the amount I’d be expected to advance if I advanced rd1 at baseline

I did somehow get a milli team through on DK though

I caved and looked at mine. Need 41 from Achane tonight to advance. Currently in 4th place, 3 teams above me have no one left.

First place team has Nix/Maye, Cook, Gibbs, Jennings, Sutton, Mitchell, and Schultz scoring.

Only Pitts share in this pod is in 2nd.

I’m only advancing one and I need to fade 34 from Achane.

Tyler Warren has been killing me as well. I started Strange over him this week and neither were any good

Yeah, I ended up looking at mine. I definitely have some sweats tonight. Right now, I'm advancing 27/258 on UD. BBMDB says I'm expected to advance 29. We'll see lol. The baseline is 32. If I advanced rd1 at baseline, then I'd be expected to advance 27, so I'm right there with you.

I'm 0/18 on DK. Most of my teams look dead based on their current place in the pods. My best spot is a 3rd place team. Most of the rest of my DK teams are in the bottom half of the pod.

I have so many 2nd/3rd place teams on UD.

I'm satisfied. Especially considering I only advanced 3 teams total last year to W16

I advanced one team . Also was in first of the showdown slate for over 7k in the fourth quarter . Ended up losing money for night somehow .

Well I got 2 more through than yesterday so I’ll take it I guess

I also had a ton of 2nd place teams, brutal but **** happens

I netted 2 more teams too. 29/257 on UD. 2 BBMs, but I'm not a huge fan of either. Also 3/7 4Q teams through.

I was able to get 1/18 through on DK, thanks to Waller. Have Ertz/Kraft dead on that team. At least Waller plays the Bengals this week. That works out to 1/14 in the Milly 0/4 in the Play Action.

If you had Trevor Lawrence or Kyle Pitts you did well this week.

It's funny how we research and analyze all off season the best plays and in the end you just have to get lucky.

I wondered in the offseason why Matt Stafford was going so late when he had Puca and Adams to throw too. Why would people take Mims in the 10th when they could get Franklin for free in the 18th? CMC was going in the early second early in the draft season. All of my advancing teams have CMC and Franklin. CMC was an easy bet, if he stays healthy he will smash. They said James Cook would regress. I said James Cook is really good and on an explosive offense etc etc etc.

Why do we play this game when every year only a very small fraction of teams end up making money? The answer is drafting is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, best ball is basically like playing a carnival game. Even Jokic isn't gonna do well shooting at a carnival basket.

Ah yes, a carnival game where the same group of good drafters continue to have success.

Hmm, just caught an error on BBMDB. The database shows I only have 1 advancing Puppy SF team, but when looking on UD, I have 2. Up to 30!

Looks like I also advanced one of those King of the Desert on DK. It'd be hilarious if I won, because I really have no interest in going to AZ.

DK moves quickly. UD could learn from that. I don't recognize anyone in my one Milly pod.
