2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Not looking good for him to clear his NFL game career high of 70% of the snaps.
Hmm, I'm honestly not sure. He spent so much draft capital on QB. I don't see how Dimes at 147 is good. Maybe Rodgers at 200 if he wants a 4th.
That said, we've seen from the LegUp sims that we were undervaluing the impact of QBs, whether stacked or understacked.
I really don't know what to think of his team. I can see paths for that RB room, but it's so damn thin. I'd want more than that in weeks 15-17, even if it's good enough to advance.
WR and TE seems fine.
I think I want 6 RBs and 8 WRs on your team. But 7-7 can work with 3 WRs in the top 4 rounds.
I'm guessing he makes up for the fragility of his RB room with the additional floor of his QBs.
I'm guessing he makes up for the fragility of his RB room with the additional floor of his QBs.
It helps, especially with advance rate. But my concern is the playoff weeks. If that team makes it, he'll be up against Bijan/Jacobs teams with possibly much better RB rooms and could be up against the same QBs or other better scoring QBs.
When I have some time, I'm going to go through the exercise of seeing just how much was added in scoring to that team using 2025 scoring, factoring in injuries too. The draft capital would be less too. As Purdy/Nix were about the same price last year, Maye was slightly cheaper than those 2, and Dimes was at the end of the draft.
I started looking at playoff scoring for everyone with an ADP 140-200 last year.
Once tax season is over for me, I'm going to try to start testing LLMs on analyzing and producing data sets quickly for trends and comparisons I want. I know people active on X are already doing it.
LLM?

Pretty sure you're supposed to take KW there lol. Let him take Rice at 31 and then take naked Mahomes at 78.
Hahaha, he took Walker ahead of me unfortunately but that would’ve been fun
Prey on all of the people listening to Davis's advice lol. Him and Mike kill Ship Chasing for me. I wish I could have Pat, Jakob and Sam. I love when Davis will say something stupid, then Pat and Jakob will be like wtf are you talking about then Davis goes into 2 minutes of rambling nonsense trying to justify his position.
Jakob will say some stuff I definitely don't agree with, and he's pretty polarizing. But I like to hear his thought process.
Pat is pretty solid most of the time, which I think also comes from working with the LegUp team as a whole.
And Sam, is well, Sam. I hope he makes some type of regular return, whether Ship Chasing or elsewhere, post-draft. I know he said his plan was to focus on fantasy after the BBM win.
If Najee goes to the Seahawks, I win all the Sklansky bucks (RIP) haha
Trade deadline might be busy for you haha. But hopefully you can at least compete in year 1.
Haha I have outs, but yeah most likely 1-2 yrs at most then rebuild
Wishing I went burden over ajb or bucky
10 BB to go. Will use the randomizer wheel to determine my strategy for each draft.
Hero RB
Zero RB
Robust RB
Hyper Fragile RB
Hero WR
If it's Hero, Robust, or Hyper Fragile and I'm starting pick 6-12, then it's 100% Hampton.
Flipping a coin to determine if I take 2 or 3 QBs.
Do you do these strategies as a way to keep things interesting or to diversify? Or I guess both?
yea, both
Onslaughting possibly the worst team in the league for your final pre-draft, what could go wrong?
