2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
What if what you need is great weather in Florida in early January?
To an extent, but I worry about his mental.
And yeah the coaches are likely all straight donkeys. Could be a classic Jets dumpster fire by midseason.
Yeah if the jets had even an avg coaching staff, I think they’d be my highest owned team (assuming pricing stayed the same). Talent on offense is surprisingly good and defense should suck
If there was ever a candidate for 9 RBs, that would be the one.
Would also be a good team to BaB. Lean into DAL and stack Blue/Malik or correlate with DeVonta and stack James/Black or Guerendo
Those are all good late round candidates and combos for the squad. Hopefully I can get a solid mix of projected standalone role + contingent upside. It's a Slow Puppy, so I'll see how it ends up and try to remember to post the final team.
The fun thing about builds like that is you really can throw ADP out the window if you have strong takes.
I can’t believe there are real drafters fading Travis and Parker.
Yeah I've been taking a lot of Hunter at his current price.
I'll slow down if he gets into the 130s and then he's a fade in the 120s or earlier.
He could definitely steam with training camp. I need to take some more this next week haha. Cheaper on DK than UD.
I think I'd probably take him all the way to the 10/11 turn, but it might tough to start justifying him above KC, Wan'Dale, Doubs, etc.
I have a ton of Hunter. The appeal of him going so high in the real draft was his two way ability. I doubt the Jags moved up just to get a corner. People must have forgotten Hunter’s elite ball skills. I’ve heard podcasters say “why would I draft a defensive player”.
A lot of people really don't understand best ball or how little it takes to be a good pick at his price. I won't draft him in redraft leagues, but that's a whole different argument.
2/5 of my finals teams had Hunter last season haha. And that was at a way higher price without him really doing anything. He was on my Husky finals team drafted at 5.10 with 28 points contributed for the season. He was on my MMG finals team drafted at 5.09 with 31.50 points contributed for the season. Neither did much in the finals but maybe a healthy Hunter gives me a spike week in w17.
You simply want that upside on your squads at his price.
What would you guy’s do here?
I don’t have a QB. Stafford and Goff are the best available but I have no stacking partners. I have Watson and Kraft. Would you reach a little and grab Love for the stack or take Stafford or Goff and back stack? The player after me has Jayden Reed and also no QB.
Love all day
