THE Official 2024 PGA Tour Season Thread
I don't have a fancy OP or anything. But now that we are in 2024, and are back to calendar schedules instead of the reach-around schedule, its time for a new thread.
Just looked up some Scottie results. Starting with Mayakoba in late 2022 he has played in 33 events, finished outside the top 12 only 4 times. Those are video game numbers.
It’s way too early, but the talking heads are going to start talking grand slam possibilities.
Flawless today when he did mess up just springs back with Birdies. I think I saw Scotty at the lowest odds of 4/1 on Thursday which seems insane and like Tiger prime odds.
Aberg looks to be some prospect for the future or near future hopefully continues his form.
Really enjoyed this.

I really need to stop betting against him.
once he fixed the putter, game over
I have to give it to Tiger showing up for the post round interview after shooting 82-78.
He did not look good.
Once everybody collapsed, Scheffler only needed to take the Nicklaus route to the finish: right on 11, left on 12, left on 13, right bunker on 15. Easy game with a big lead. Spieth was probably taking notes.
Schefflers caddie's earnings this year 1.45 million. Would fall in the top 50 of earnings on the tour 😀
went to the Korn Ferry event today
followed Sam Bennett going out and Cole Hammer coming in. nice eagle for Hammer on his #18 to post a 63 (good for T-2)
a 15-year-old posted a 67 (story in link)
Having watched quite a bit of Wesley and his brother on youtube, good to see him posting some low scores in an event. Its clear the golf skill is there but not sure if he handles the mental swings within the game that well.
RBC Heritage odds to win after the cut
What cut?
Would be nice if Scheffler and Åberg could battle it out the coming years
Åberg is such a boss
the sound of his contact is mesmerizing and he seems to be unbothered at 24
and scottie is slinging darts
walking down the road
with an old blade in your hand,
Scottie too bad, that's what they say
How does this Scheffler heater rank according to Tiger and more mortal heaters? He's 90% top 10s, 100% top 25s, four wins and a 2nd thru April. It just seems increasingly off the hook.
Could be an expensive weather delay if Scotties wife goes in to labour tonight or tomorrow. Almost as bad as Rahm's covid test.

Not close and has an *. Not all the best players in the world play an the PGAT now. Unreal heater though, I certainly never thought he'd be this good.
Scheffler's caddy has now accumulated 1.8 million in earnings this year.

I'm a big Tiger fan, and I must say, the dude has game, has the athleticism and power needed, seems calm like DJ, and clutch. If there are no major changes in his life he will continue to win.
