Flurries of thoughts about not using my time on earth properly flow through me. I am pretty much averaging 6-10 hours of poker daily, which is great. I spend the time away from the casino smoking weed. I am living my best life if not close to it.

Playing poker every day is a gift.

A rare thing happened to me today. I played my D-game at poker and quit after two hours.

A leak of mine is playing down to my competition. Today wasn't the first time I've played poorly at an extremely soft table. I need to get a handle on that.

Which shouldn't be that hard to do. I visualize myself beating great players, I can also think about playing disciplined against amateurs.

If I take three days off from poker a month it doesn't sound like that much. But at the end of the year that equates to 5 weeks.

Bob Voulgaris is going off on X about a problem gambling epidemic related to the mass proliferation of sites like DraftKings. I predicted this would happen when the sites first came out, but have since stopped caring due to YOLO or something. Plus I don't bet sports much so I will personally be fine.

Was feeling headachy and sluggish all day. Had some coffee this evening and I now feel great! Obviously I am a caffeine addict and may need to deal with this fact eventually.

Elon Musk has claimed that his company Neuralink can restore sight in monkeys.

On this X platform (formerly Twitter), the Tesla and SpaceX chief said his other company Neuralink had enabled blind monkeys to see with its brain chip technology. “The Blindsight implant is already working in monkeys,” he said on Thursday.

The billionaire also said this Neuralink product would be called Blindsight, adding that the resolution would be low to begin with, like “early Nintendo graphics”, but that it could exceed normal human vision in the future.

I used to be a gambling hobbyist. I would bet on things like the color of dispensed M&M's and pretty much anything.

I remember someone close to me telling me I should consider not playing poker. The reasoning was that I had mental problems, and poker is tough mentally.

I actually am thankful for the show of caring. And while I didn't take the advice, I thought about it and felt they had a good point.

What I couldn't anticipate was that the opposite was actually true. Playing online poker was one of the best things I could do to help treat my mental problems.

My projection for the year has a 5% chance of netting me 38k, 5% chance of 68k, and the rest in between.

My projection for 10 years has a 5% chance of netting me 500k, 5% chance of 586k, and the rest in between.

That's assuming I don't move up stakes and remain at 300nl.

The jist is one year results have insane variance, while 10 year results do not.

I have angered the Poker Gods.

Repenting begins now.

Alice Lee is kind of astonishing for how well she articulates her thoughts after chess games. It's nice to finally have an American woman to root for on the superpro scene. If I'm able to figure out how to place chess bets *hopefully* *someday* Alice will make me a lot of money.
