Suitedjustice's Ongoing Mid-life Crisis
I woke up in the middle of choking to death again; though to be accurate, it was towards the end of the process--woke up
The sunrun set last night/this morning, with twin losses of $177 each in both poker and slots. I also ran into another Ultimate X hater and actually left early due to that, for reasons that I will detail later on after I've had some sleep.
Week 15
MGM Springfield $1/$2 poker: 20.5 hours
+$1004.00
MGM Springfield Slots: 19.5 hours
+$512.00
Running Poker Total: 259.5 hours, +$4448.00
Running Slot Total: 264 hours, +$10557.00
Total 15 Weeks: 523.5 hours, +$15005.00
I’ve never gone on a cruise myself but my understanding is that they can be pretty valuable for AP slots depending on how much competition there is. There are good comps available for high volume slot players too.
Great results recently, impressed with how consistent your volume has been too.

Thanks Dan GK!
I'm thinking that the slot play will be hit or miss. If I find a post or a video showing that a certain cruise line has great AP slots, then many other pros will have also found that, and I can expect competition. I also wouldn't be surprised if the syndicates have expanded to include cruises.
If, however, I luck out and end up being the only AP on a cruise with good slots, then it's big rock candy mountain time.
She came up to me last night while I was checking Ultimate X, which involves scrolling through hundreds and hundreds of screens and playing on less than 1% of them. Middle-aged Latina. Big bottom. Serious Karen drama vibes.
"Are you playing?"
"I'm looking. If I see something I like; I'll play."
Half an hour later, at another bank of machines...
"What are you doing? Because it's seriiously messing everyone up."
I gave her a quizzical look. It was 3:30 AM. Other than a sleepy security guard at the closest entrance, we were the only two humans within a 70 meter radius.
"Are you programming it?"
"No I'm..."
"Because it's messing people up."
She stalked off with the kind of conviction that made me suspect that she was heading towards security and/or a slot tech to accuse me of cheating. I was stuck for around $350 and I still had a few more machines to check to maybe pull myself out of it, but I wasn't up for a confrontation of the sort that the crazy busybody wanted bring down on me, so I called it a day and slipped away.
"Yes. If you give me your player's number, I'll include you in the wins."
I think she was hitting on you, albeit badly. You should have apologized for messing her up and offered to buy her a drink. 😃
In the sense that I am an algorithm searching for the most efficient output parameters—yes, I am at least part of a program. Now please leave me alone, lady.

I could have taken a more accommodationist approach. In RPG parlance, I failed that speech check.
