Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one without Trooper talk.
This thread is to discuss local professional poker players on their journey. Please refrain from mentioning the local youtube celebrity who plays poker.

Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
$350 dealing one day, plus free food, why would he ever quit?
Because those pesky work schedules tie you to be at a place at the same time everyday for days on end. He won't be able to play poker when he wants to and most importantly, take random trips when he wants. Also having to change between hotel rooms and Airbnb's takes a lot of time every week which would reduce his poker playing time.
Nope, why make 3x what you were making playing poker "for a living" so you can retire faster like his goal has been this whole time?
Talking about vlogs having massive contradictiions. First he wants to make as much money as quickly as possible so he can retire. So he plays 1-3 almost exclusively while doing very little to nothing to improve his game where he can increase his win rate by either playing 2-5+ or if he's stuck on wanting to play 1-3 cause the games are more fun, increase his win rate there.
Then he starts dealing and making 3x his poker hourly and while he is grinding hard everyday trying to get in as many dealing hours as he can, now his plan is to return to his poker hourly cause a job would cramp his lifestyle.
Diesel being Diesel.
I understand being selective and mindful of overlapping with other commitments, making time for your family/kids, other duties, etc.
Rice/Diesel literally has none of those.
making hundreds of dollars a day now and buying fish #howrich
If he bought this a couple of weeks ago and it has a sell by date of April 6th on it, he is lucky to be alive.
Yea, she has a lot of cashes but she also plays a lot of tournaments, there is some decent scores listed, nothing major, she is probably break even after travel costs/etc.

Funnily enough in today's video she justifies why she has less winnings than her partner on Hendon mob. She says that Bob plays more tournaments than she does and that she has won millions in cash games lol. It's bleedingly obvious in her videos that he's much less interested in playing all the tournaments and it's her that is dragging him along to all the events.
Bonus cringe moment is when she's sitting at the table and is explaining to the camera how there is only 1 player at the table with less chips than her and so hopefully she can secure his bounty, and the guy is right there sitting opposite her. These vloggers are off the charts with the narcissism, thinking the whole world is a backdrop to their fascinating story.
Lexy is extremely cringe to have at the table, literally no shame. For someone who has won “millions” playing poker, what would be the motivation to try so hard to vlog?
It’s a ton of work even if you’re not editing, not to mention the distraction to actually play. Is it because Bob not giving her enough attention?
That’s one of the more absurd and obvious lies I’ve heard any vlogger say.
Tops trooper claiming to have an roi in 180 man’s that’d make him the best mtt player in the world

yeah she is probably gonna bring up that 200-400plo that runs on 26th Street in NYC. she was backed and cut pretty quick.
can't believe she actually said she won "millions ".
How does Diesel make a mundane job so damn fascinating? You'd think talking about work schedule would not be that interesting. But damn - every day, pure fire!
I was debating becoming a dealer but I think it's what I'm gonna do after I am done playing cards . even if it's like 20 hours a week

Vloggers are just largely grifters trying to get suckers to invest in them. A few years ago people would try this on Instagram with their chip stack pics. It was actually hilarious watching people in casinos who were known losers posting this stuff. Meanwhile the winners in the bigger games in the same rooms were just trying to fly under the radar.
One of my favorites was when someone told me about how they ran up their stack in plo a few weeks earlier to 15x starting stack. They even showed me a video they posted on IG. What I informed them was they're terrible and that's the side of my head in the video and they were probably still stuck in the night. They managed to get all in 3 ways with less than 10 percent equity and scoop both boards.
The fact Lexy claims she's won millions is hilarious. Bc if there's one thing people up millions do it's play a ton of lowish wsop events ,sell action and try to min cash.
I want to play an event at Matusows table and when he goes around asking everyone's name tell him mine and then ask him his. He would lose his mind.

I think what you have not accounted for is that he can now be "the dealer nomad" and join traveling circuit dealers. he isn't giving up that hourly easily.

Let's do the math.
Millions mean $200,00 per year over her poker playing career.
And she married money instead of a boy toy?
At 30hr deez is easily 5x his supposed poker income, of which has been obfuscated in many ways documented ITT.
Rice's eagerness to sell his time in exchange for wages, tips, being less bored than playing 1/3, and dare I say it, actually feeling useful while grinding the EDR...

ELD should get a Wyndham Business credit card so that way he can be Diamond tier and get waived resort fees while doing the dealer nomad scheme without needing the massive time commitment to earn Diamond tier via 1/3 at the Horseshoe. Especially since there is no reason to be Diamond plus anymore.
Hadn't watched any Lexy but after the above posts watched parts of a few of her videos. She definitely seems annoying af and her antics at the table are pretty outrageous and must be close to not being tolerated. She also looks pretty old (40+) so I can't imagine she has many younger fans so her main target audience must be older male simps which can't be that huge as most of them would probably also prefer a younger, more attractive women to simp after. I'm struggling to see how she has built a following!
I have never heard of or seen a dealer that switch hit, changing which hand they deal with, but Diesel is special as usual.
He says a lady told him in dealer school they teach you to deal right-handed. I find that hard to believe. If you are lefty, then that is how you deal.

I like how Diesel practiced dealing right handed during tourney downs cause he's slower getting the cards out. I'm sure the players that he dealt to now appreciate he was just messing around when getting out as many hands as possible in a tourney is a big deal.
Then he switched back to lefty in cash games to get out hands as the number of hands dealt directly affects his bottom line.
Diesel being Diesel.
Do not judge me or judge me i dont care i'm back after a self exiled period of at least 1 year. Might go play the orlean sunday after trying to get my **** together the past 3 weeks ( of course getting lead out of a bar which shall remain nameless)
and being unable to do so. Loving the Rice minutia of how much he's making per day the dude is in his element.....meeting people that view his vlog and by all accounts making good money per day. Rice seems happy which bottom line isnt that all that matters?
