Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

She's at least a solid 7.5, at her best with a little make-up and effort. But when you factor in that she's not only willing to put up with Tim but she's basically his sugar mama; that makes her a perfect 10
People seem to forget how he won 3M over a couple of years, bought a house, and has set himself up with multiple very lucrative income streams. Trust me he's not doing it tough, despite what he might want people to believe. Sure he would much prefer to be winning than losing, but he's still doing just fine!
you're right. he won a bunch a few years ago. and he's got some marketing deals.
and for the last two years he's done nothing but lose. 7 figures losing.

The thing is, he can't keep losing. He would eventually go broke. If you keep winning, even if it's just a little, you never run out of money.
Out of that 3 million he paid taxes, bought the house as you mentioned, and lost a million in cash games last year. Plus, he continues to play nosebleeds. That's not a viable longterm financial plan.
He could have set himself up financially for life, but for some of these high-stakes guys, poker is a dick-swinging contest. He probably couldn't stomach playing 5-10 or 10-20, when there's a 50-100 game going somewhere.
The thing is, he can't keep losing. He would eventually go broke. If you keep winning, even if it's just a little, you never run out of money.

Speaking of which, Phil Laak is back on High Stakes Poker, with Tilly's money, no doubt. They aren't playing with 50-100k on the table any more. It's 6 to 8 times that.

That's the backbone of his entire strategy. Sit there all night folding and racking up comps and promo money. Hope that when he eventually gets AA or KK that it holds up and someone is dumb enough to pay him off.

All depends on what his income is like really and also what % of himself he has in these events/games that he keeps losing in. For all we know he could very well be set for life. Who knows how much backing he has, particularly in the super high stakes tournaments and cash games. He no doubt will have more wins along the way too when he runs like GOD again.
He has a YouTube channel with 300k+ subscribers so there is considerable income generated from advertising on his channel, not to mention all the merch sales. Plus he's got various sponsorships like WPT and I'm assuming he is still getting all that sweet kickback money from illegal poker clubs like Splash Poker and Poker Bros etc which could easily eclipse all his other income combined.

It looks like to me they have spent a bunch of money and effort to get a job slaving the kitchen they have to drive to and going to markets and preparing shipments, probably 60+ hour weeks and it may or may not even get profitable, and if it does, will it be enough to make it worthwhile?

I went there once after a Yankees Orioles game on a Friday night and they had 4 tables going.
You could walk there in a few mins from the football and baseball stadiums.

He's been fairly public about selling pieces. He puts it out there for most of it, and he's mentioned small pieces for friends. The cash games are mostly him because he's on this Back to a million or whatever it's called, challenge. He's trying to win back the million he lost.
He could be lying about it all I guess, but some sharp people would add things up and out him.
He only puts out a video a week, so he's not getting rich off of that.
