Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs
Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one without Trooper talk.
This thread is to discuss local professional poker players on their journey. Please refrain from mentioning the local youtube celebrity who plays poker.

This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.
Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
In a new short, ELD makes a comprehensive video of where the printer copier machines are located on the East side of the strip accessible by monorail.
1. Harrah's business center
2. Flamingo
3. Bally's which some call Horseshoe and some call the previous location of the MGM Grand
4. Mgm Grand current location - also a 24 hour copy print machine
Think Blue Poker's challenge of turning $1,000 into a bankroll...
Does he have more money but choosing to start with $1,000 for the sake of a challenge or is that just his entire bankroll and he has no choice?
I assume he is hoping it is now his entire poker bankroll. and if it depletes he will either shrug and and start over with another thousand or few, or quit/take a break again

He sure hasn't come close to making $1800 per week ubering like he said he would when he left Las Vegas.

I think the $1800 includes rent money saved by living at his mom's house
Also, both the Troopers are noticably fatter

Yes I gathered as much.
l wouldn't feel too bad for Rampage, he will be just fine. Even if he keeps punting, which I'm sure he will. He ran good at the right time, just like all the other poker hot shots who "made it in poker" did before him...
Seems like ED is trying to rebrand a bit as a travel/lifestyle blogger. I think that is a great move. In my opinion, some of his best content is centered around his hotel/ABnB and food reviews. Plus, he already has well over 5k subscribers, which I would imagine is close to maxing out the audience for pure poker content. I think if he made his channel more like the Coolist (https://www.youtube.com/@Coolist) he could continue to grow his brand while making fresh content.
ABnB and food reviews? What good is an ABnB review if you don't know which one it is?
Food reviews? Of oatmeal, cheap sausage, sardines, and rice? Ugh.

Unlikely, if he keeps playing as he is. He was running way ahead of expectation. His "good luck" was front-loaded, now he has a crapton of bad luck coming that he owes on.
Would be interested to see how Rampage's purchases during his peak are faring - like all the NFTs and the Tom Brady rookie cards that have lost 70% of their value
Rampage has the luxury of losing at poker and buying depreciating assets because he is printing cash. Historically, on this site we don’t berate whales or say they should stop playing poker, just troll the shyt out of shyt regs like trooper and diesel.
Rampage is probably a favorite to end up broke and in jail but not due to playing poker lol. He could wind up in federal prison and posters on here are like he’s a losing poker player, he needs to stop now! Yeah, he’s bad but he’s better than Nik Airball and random Asian smokeshow #9, so he will be just fine until club fed and then he will write book or whatever and be just fine again. If anything he should gamble more now not less.
That's true. Except if he had any brains at all he won't be risking that much of his own money now
If him and any of these guys making piles off the app games have any brains they're paying taxes on their earnings.
But instead they're probably just punting their money and ignoring the fact they have a gazillion transitions going in and out of their bank accounts.
ELD starts the video out by pointing out Herbs and Rye brings six outfits and ten hats for a two day trip whereas ELD as an experienced Nomad traveler simply wears the same outfit he has on for two days and thus has no need to pack any clothes for a mere two day trip.
Next we are shown the comp soda machine which has a high amount of carbonation. Then ELD plays poker for 39 minutes apparently but this is not shown. In the concluding scene we are taken to the great WAWA parking lot.
I ate a lot of candy when I was younger and I've never had pralines or peanut brittle in my life. Nor have I ever heard anyone say those are candies they like.
Peanut brittle is the dumbest candy I've ever heard of. Rock hard and sticks to your teeth? That's a hard pass. Here's what ChatGPT had to say about it: "Peanut brittle's stickiness and tooth-testing crunch can make it feel more like a candy obstacle course than a treat. It’s definitely a 'love it or hate it' kind of snack—best enjoyed by those brave enough to risk a little dental gymnastics!"
Would it kill them to make a chocolate bar?
With all due respect, you don't understand the admiration I have for the man.

People who are truly successful find a void and fill it. That's what El Diesel has done. He is a social media content creator . . . he self-publishes print content . . . and I suspect he's preparing to tackle a third form of media, perhaps one that does not yet even exist.
Ever since Trooper parlayed his poker career and Go Gamble brand into a successful food business, people need someone else to bash. And in 2 or 3 years, when El Diesel blows up, there will be a new villain. There is so much negativity in this thread that when someone posts some love, people think it's a troll job. Welcome to 2024 internet.

ELD only played 2 1/2 hours because, being down $187, he was quickly approaching the -$200 nuclear meltdown loss. As it is, those 2 hours of play qualified him for the $200 in rakeback bonus, so he is about even with poker play and still up the Monday Night Football promo money.
He plans on playing a full 9 hours tomorrow because the instant high hand $500 bonus money is running and 9 hours will probably give him another $100 in rakeback promo bucks.
ELD is living the high life working the system unlike the miserable fools in the rest of the world who aren't as smart as he is. It's not too late to change your ways, start by wearing the same clothes for a couple of days.

My sources tell me El D is getting ready to launch a 900 Number to reach those people who can't figure out how his PDF newsletter works. All the information from the newsletter, buy in El D's actual voice. Classic, El Diesel!
