Fwiw if 1/2 NL full time grind is netting around $10/hour, card counting BJ with infinite comp hustle is like a superior and logical choice. No casino will really kick you out if you're grinding a $10 min bet to $40 max OR $5 min to $50 max on a shoe. It's just too much effort to trespass. Can play in every casino in the world.I would play BJ professionally for $10/hour over Po

I've mentioned card counting as an option for him before. Some casinos would still kick him out but not many.
The issue for him is he couldn't deal with the swings from bj.

And Poppa, I believe that you are a HS friend and not Diesel, but I encourage you to watch more of the vlog, especially the videos relating to finances, results, and these challenges.Professional poker is grueling for everyone, especially so when one is playing the lowest stakes possible with a razor thin win rate, no home, and a lack of an emotional support system (girlfriend

I believe your concern is genuine but misguided. I speak with him every single day. He is 100% fine financially and spiritually

None of you are able to discern that bigpoppa is not Rice? Really? It's pretty easy to tell by their writing style and use of aggresive language. Come on, many of you are smart enough to spot the clear signs. I don't know who this new poster is, but it's definitely some dude in their late teens to late 20s

by Pete_Peters

That last ED video was kinda of a downer. Dude got on a 5:00 am Spirit flight to spend a day walking around SF, had only bread to eat, saw some duck hanging in a chinatown window and was thrilled, and then had nothing left to do with his day so found some standard stores and told us about them before heading back to the airport with some pocket bread. He went to Cornell. Th

And anyone who mentions this is bullying him or an ablist not sensitive to those on the spectrum.

So Rice finally decides to join this little roast party we have got going here.

Oh wait. No, it's actually his "long lost childhood friend" who has miraculously come out of nowhere to zealously defend his honour with such vigour. And of course using the same combative style of "debating" that Rice uses in his video comments LOL

BigPoppa easily best new poster, he defends Diesel better than noted 2p2 brain surgeons Prev, RidePolaris, and TexasKK ever could.

Also funny that BigPoppa came around while we are cheering and congratulating diesel. He gets the hero treatment on here just for getting a dealing gig, that’s pretty good.

I believe whatever Poppa says about his real identity. Diesel would either use his ElDiesel account on here or he wouldn’t post, or at least he would pick numbers other than 1010.

by Bigpoppa1010

You simply can’t accept that he could live exactly like you do. He has the money to do so. He CHOOSES to live like he does. This is not a hard concept. You are much closer to the park bench than he is

he is so smart and successful that he *chooses* to spend thousands of hours a year making half of minimum wage?

and eating poorly and putting his health into rapid decline?

and bumming off strangers at the table and stealing utensils and condiments at every opportunity?

and then documenting it for all his followers?

c'mon man

I would argue becoming a AP slot player would be more profitable and less variance then bj or poker without much of the trouble of being banned from casinos. Very few will actually ban slot hustlers.
It would also get him more comps then his poker playing does.
But getting a dealing job is definitely a smart move for him. It will be hard for this thread to hate on him if he continues to work as a dealer.

No one knows "this much" about a childhood friend, and no matter how close the average person knows about a personal, close friend, you'll never know the true scope of their actual financial situation.

But I guess if you were neurodivergent, delusional, narcissistic, cowardly combative, and had all the time in the world from your room in the Rio to get out your true, life's aggression to respond to every post in the thread for hours, then you could ignore the truth in the paragraph above to maintain face under a sockpuppet account.

Doesn't take an Ivy League grad to piece together the obvious, and if the saying is true that "you're a product of your 5 closest friends", then I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Yeah, I agree with this. It's a bit of his idea of what someone on the spectrum might imagine that a "true" friend might come and post on his behalf. All in all, I hope he can go back a few pages and read the positive comments about his dealing job.

I'd echo that, especially about the positive comments on the dealing gig. It's getting extremely tough for many people in society to make it, and with working taxpayers facing the major brunt of it.... seeing people on the bottom rung of society make it to a point of supporting themselves positively should be celebrated.

The decline of mental health in the 18-40 y/o generation will have major blowbacks and reprocussions as this generation ages into their elder years without the financial means and positive mental health to support themselves without living on government assistant programs (that will eventually be extinct in 20 years).

You really wanna root for a guy like Rice, but as we can see with the way he absorbs any feedback, even the kind without underlying snarkiness, it makes it almost impossible to wish him the best. It's just a matter of watching time tick away until father time wins the battle.

Not to be catacomb like but it'd be cool if the guy said he doesn't think he's good enough to beat 25 instead of saying he doesn't need to. Or be honest about his income. Nobody cares really just lots of viewers like the people itt. Which isn't saying much.

by TheAdvantagePlayer

$50/hour with 6 figure is literally 0.01% RoR.

I was nodding in agreement until this part.
You just need to move that decimal two spaces along to the right, and even then that is being incredibly generous.

Can we expect a video detailing The Best way to carry bread in your pocket? Your viewers probably need instruction in the optimal method.

Plastic, paper, aluminum foil, bare ass naked?

by Turdzilla

Pocket bread marinated with the essence of unwashed, 2-day marinated sweat from the crease of your thigh and sac is a delicacy in some places. The little holes in basketball shorts make a perfect cheesecloth for the marinade.

You understand that we’re still best friends right? There are a lot of weird post in here claiming to know it all about rice. This one is by far the weirdest

We would literally sit tg every day in early 2020 bc of Covid and day trade. I know exactly what was in his portfolio, at the age of 29. 150k+. Again, that’s not his bank account/ assets. We would literally bet on sports tg as well. We are like brothers. You continue to embarrass yourself post after post. Your smart, you’re just not that smart

The hero roleplay is cute and undoubtedly a good exercise in being the hero to yourself that your life desperately needs, so keep doing what you're doing.

I'll sit back and enjoy the popcorn with the downward spiral of mental health.

by Bigpoppa1010

Your smart, you’re just not that smart

It's "You're".

Please continue.

Just wanted to add, you have serious mental health issues lmao

I’m not rice. No matter how many times you say it

No one's above it. It's molded me into a somewhat successful entrepreneur and beloved poster in this forum.

Your inability to see life for what it is, is molding nothing except the bread in your pocket.

by Bigpoppa1010

This is where the disconnect lies between reality and what this thread believes. He could have a permanent place to live right now, 5x over. HE DOESNT WANT TO. Why is that so hard to understand? He is not under any financial burden. He simply chooses to live the way he does

He is not under any financial burden?

How do you know if you only knew him when mommy paid his expenses?

Most people believe that living a minimalist lifestyle is a sign of a lack of resources, substance abuse, or mental illness.

You’re right about that, No one is above it. However, when you spew hateful nonsense like what you wrote about rice, you deserve to be told what you are

Where did I say I only knew him when mommy paid his expenses(she never did)?
