Add in practicing throwing dice on the hotel bed and I’m in! Did I miss that Casino Nomad is working on dice control? The Financial advisor looks like she’s straight from central casting for a gambling groupie, CN must stay away from those girls, that’s gonna be a mess even on the off chance she never asks him for money. Oh what a mess it’ll be, especially if he’s breaking down

He might as well "date" a stripper. A friend of mine did that for awhile. It was almost 2 months before she "needed a little help with the rent". He had a little TMM syndrome. Between a good salary and doing well in the stock market he had Too Much Money. He started dating a second stripper, working in the same strip club as the first. I reminded him "you know dude, they all talk to each other".

This is honestly sad.He is a gambling addict. We should all pray for him. No trolling. No bullshit

This is probably the real reason Pman bailed from his thread cause he had his buddy mod banning people so he could just cry to that mod and ban anyone that criticized him.

He sure was happy to post his daily results when he binked a tourney score but then went like 2 for his next 50 tourneys and buried in make up and his backer bailed on him. So instead of having to face the music that he's a losing player, he locks his thread.

Notice how this Sunday, he shows zero tourneys played. Guess that's that.

Someone should send him Stanford Wongs book on dice control. If he reads up and practices enough on his hotel mattress, with a little bit of luck maybe he can bring his average room costs down a smidge by end of year.

Also, of course Pman has a terrible gambling addiction and needs extensive treatment. It’s wild he was still tricking people up until he closed his thread and people were giving him advice to just study harder and getting frustrated with him when he has actually regressed in poker skill over the years.

Yeah and also lol at people telling him to get a job. How much clearer can he make it; that's not going to happen! Just enjoy the Pman trainwreck for what it is

If it's anything like the "I f***ed up video which went viral and caused his subscriber count to skyrocket, it should be worth another 50K views. How much revenue does a youtuber get from 50K views?

Probably around $300 - $400.

Pman can't function in the real world. He lives in a bubble where nothing he does has any consequences so he doesn't actually learn anything from his mistakes. No matter what Pdad won't let him starve or live in the tunnels where he belongs.

He can't handle an ounce of criticism hence the closing of the thread. People with no self awareness or objectively never get anywhere in poker or life. When questioned on his plays or the fact he calls himself a poker pro while being trash at poker he just spews positivity buzz words from car bumper stickers and buries his head in the sand.

Topg2024 next year it would be great if you could attend the 2026 Rubber Tramp Rendezvous held in Quartzsite AZ to continue your excellent coverage of the nomadic method.

Finally watched Casino Nomad's last video. $2700-ish down for January? That's actually not that bad - many people pay more than that for their mortgage. But he does seem to have a problem. He just plays -ev games with no plan of how to come out on top. Even if he wins for a month he'll just lose it next month. He should learn how to trade options. At least there are people that can show him how to make money, and he can still get that gambling rush of making money without working for it.

Hope he never sees Leon's thread. He doesn't seem to have the self-discipline to read that thread without running off to the Wynn after withdrawing 20 grand from the bank.

I've been a big supporter of Casino Nomad but geez he's a train wreck.
"come follow along as I chase my losses and destroy any personal and financial goals I had."
"but first, I gotta warm up and practice throwing dice on my bed. how's my form?"
"all I can think about right now is craps."
"I don't feel good about this but what the hell, I'm doing it anyway"
I have a girlfriend but my first priority is feeding my gambling addiction "

I will say, though, that being absolutely crushed about losing $700 is a healthy reaction. how many of you haven't lost more than that in a day of poker or degen? at least his gambling addiction is capped/controlled

I agree with your assessment, and really like Casino Nomad. He seems like a good guy.

But if you're losing $1500-$2k per month gambling in order to get room comps, at what point does it just make more sense to get a 1 BR apartment and cook your own food at home?

It's sad. It would be like if I told everyone I was a professional chess player but had an ELO of 900. Or a professional baseball player but couldn't hit a 60 mph fastball off of a 12 year old kid.

Lady Trooper got the memo....

by RoadtoPro

any solidly winning pros vlogging these days in Vegas?

Aero Innovations seems to be a Vegas winner.

idk he's crushed about losing $700 but then loses another $2K later and is crushed about that? seems like a gambling addict's regret more than anything

a healthy reaction would be to shrug off the losses because it's the variance that also allows him to have wins playing -EV game and a fee that he has to pay to the casino to let him scratch his gambling itch

another healthy reaction would be to quit entirely if his losses bother him that much

it would be one thing for the guy to have a stop loss and then say hey I've lost $300 and am done for the day, but that's not what we're seeing

I don't think there is a miracle cream on the market that can help those hands. lol

Can learn a lot just watching poker nomad aka rice old vlogs

Poster RoadtoPro said solidly winning players. But I guess in regards to Vegas Poker Nomad, as the old TV car commercial said, "You can learn a lot from a Dummy".

Anybody else think this is weird or telling, they don't capitalize the word you? (btw, its the troopers)

Exactly. His reaction is to get sad/depressed and then play more the following day. Id call that anything but healthy.

Luckily for him this time he was able to win back most of what he lost but he could of easily buried himself deeper.

Yes, what we are seeing is "I've cut off my cash advance from my credit card" and "I'm hiding $500 in the motel safe from myself because I can't be trusted to carry it around."

That is 100% addict behavior. Usually there is cocaine involved, but I guess these mind games works for gambling too. I mean, the answer to alcoholism is not put a bigger lock on your liquor cabinet.

He needs to get out of Nevada quickly and find a cheap place in Utah. "All I can think about is craps" and needing to practice so he can feel the dice in his hands is scary stuff.

It’s anything but healthy or controlled, he is addicted to throwing dice and only plays slots to grope financial advisor in a side by side chair set up (also why so many slots in Vegas have bench seats). I’ve lost thousands in minutes on big $40+ spin slot plays and I felt fine after all those because I had a big edge and played the next +ev spots I found which were tiny 75 cent plays. CN feels regret, tragic loss, and has a burning desire to play big again ASAP because he’s just gambling and with his cash advance problem, it’s clear he loses control all the time.

Agree with IQ and cocaine doesn’t seem to be involved yet but I’m sure financial advisor will introduce it into the mix soon enough.

Pman is at “leaving Las Vegas” levels of sad, at least CN still has the ability to work and date/be social.

he didn't lose $2k later, what are you talking about

by rickroll

i've never watched his stuff, but i've heard from several players that he's a losing player - idk if there's anything to support that - they could possibly be haters idk

About 7 years ago, he posted a video on his poker results for the year. My recollection is that he was close to break even, maybe up or down a few thousand dollars, and played only 500 or 600 hours all year. But he has 230 million views on YouTube. So his income from YouTube and sponsorships far surpasses what he could hope to make as a full-time mid-stakes grinder.

No one really talks about him here because he's boring and repetitive, but he has mastered a formulaic, mildly humorous approach to hand histories that a mass audience enjoys.

He posts his results every year. He's a winner overall.

That point was some time ago. It seems okay if a guy moves to Vegas and plays losing poker for awhile because he's trying to build a skill, and most people will get at least a little better over time. That means the losses will get smaller. But if you're playing only -ev games all the time, that's not the case.

Yup, and he just got a pretty good review from Charlie Carrel, so I started watching his stuff again. I had stopped watching because it seemed like the same old stuff over and over.
