We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.
Posting hands
Click on hand #number in replayer.
Copy text and remove ante part of first row in hh:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400 ante 80) 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
Add - after parenthesis. Line should read:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400) - 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
This works until someone has a 7 figure stack, then you need to edit any number over one mega.
paste hh https://pokeit.co/convert/
The converted hand will say it's from GG, you may edit this too.
For the OCD inclined, search and replace § with $.
Post your nice hand here!

I don't think anyone in this line up was winning in yesterdays Coin $100/200 game. Most regs understand that better games can warrant a higher rake, similar to GGs model where winning players subsidise the recreationals but for the games to run long term it has to be theoretically beatable for at least someone at the table.
Charging $250 (1.25bb) a hand with large antes at $100/200 results in 80bb/100 charged from the table, or $16k per 100 hands which is even higher than GGPoker. At least I wil
Ya they charge $800 per hand at 5/1k , insanity. However you arent taking into consideration rakeback which they give loads of. Ive only played 10/20 and some 25/50 on there and have broken even over the handful of times and was given a decent rb offer. Those games are raked pretty normally too, so i imagine in these stakes they give really high rakeback to anyone whose actually depositing.
I think the high rake is a bit of a hedge for Tony for all the credit hes extending/freerolling. He can offer credit players really low rakeback and then anyone willing to actually put money up front on deposit will get rewarded via RB. This is purely a theory, not fact.
It could be worth messaging either Tony or support and tell them the stakes you would fire if you can get x %, and see if they accept whatever % you feel youd need to get to be not kicked in the balls every hand via rake

Is CoinPoker running games regularly ? I signed up there when they launched and made a small deposit becaue I knew the managment. I get occasional emails, but have not played since their launch.
How is the traffic at low stakes ?
Moneymaker is firing the 2/400 plo8 rathole right now. 5 handed
guess king10clubs was the last one to do the 500k+ at midstakes
the FR crusher who looked like a fish has to be shark nebulah right?
Def dont think king10clubs was the last one to do 500k+ a year at midstakes. While he is the biggest legend of midstakes he also had some failed shots at 5k+ , i recall him having like a 1m hand break even stretch quite late in his career. From what i can remember one of his last years was like 300-400k ish.
the FR crusher thing I have no clue about, but even right before solver era there was some really absurd strategies at midstakes. On the top of my mind some of the more fun/easy to remember ones where: sipinho13 (500z reg) who would open 30-35% + from every position and somehow be winning. Sir_donald (500z crusher?) would stab like 75% of his range when x:ed to and would just bet pot flop, bet turn and all in river. There was a guy playing on pokerstars.fr named sOmcorp56 or something that litterally opened 100% on the button uptil 2015-2016 or so with no exceptions. Kingzemanel might not had a interesting strategy, just ultra nit but he would seatscript nl25 to nl10k full ring simultaneously. Have to say im quite intrigued if multiple guys mention some dude that they think fit the bill pre 2010. It's hard to imagine the strategies you could get away with back then lol.
didn't KTclubs also have a year of losing over 1mm hands lmao. true goat of the game and heart of a lion
I was a midstakes full ring pro before 2010 without playing a single 6max hand
I remember kingzemanel, he was in fact a huge nit but back then you had some crushers who played something like 11/8 like jrockhaf & ronfar
And then you had a winning reg called chrisjester who opened 40% utg in full ring
Why people (and myself) mentioned sharknebulah is probably because a lot of regs thought he was bad because he was limp/calling and limp/raising a lot.. But then PTR came out and he turned out to be one of the biggest winners
The same kelisitaan rings a bell but dont have a super memory of him

sipinho was opening 100% from BTN and CO, like 60% from HJ and I don’t remember UTG but it was pretty high as well
Kelisitaan is the first crusher I have a memory of. He started minraising pre when everyone 3x and 3-betting wide (not sure how wide, but the std was 3% lol) while everyone kept folding 80%+ whilst playing 10/8 at the same time lmao. nOoNehaDaCLue
classic kala down a million buy ins

Standard 3bet was never 3% unless you’re talking pre 2004. Card runners was the first major training site and stressed the importance of 3betting suited connectors along with big pairs. Something in the 10-15% range
Barak still can't get anyone off KQ high, maybe another 100bb on the stack and he'll make it happen
