Anyone see this new update? It just went live in Ontario like 1 hour ago. It might not even be live in gg global yet but
I actually like the idea, even though the cynic in me understands sites want to maximize the rake they can get by any means possible. (in this case, by maximizing hands/hr)
Recreationals don't want poker nerds taking the whole timebank to think about sizing, ranges, not giving off tells etc, they want to play. They're mostly 1 tabling so it doesn't affect them nearly as much. And recreationals are the bosses, not regulars.
Less obvious opportunities for cheating. Yes, sites should offer safe and secure games, some sites like Ignition/Bodog (which btw offer pretty big timebanks) do not care at all, but not giving people much opportunity to cheat is just as important.
Less mass volumers (because they will tire pretty quickly or they will have to spend a lot of bbs from their winrates), and some filtering for all the regs who don't have their heuristics for every spot automatically ingrained, might lead to better games (?)
I think this time GG might have gotten it right.
Only a matter of time before sites start charging per login. I understand it is annoying when ppl tank but jesus christ to charge players for it. Get ****ed.
No it's not bad and people like you are why they're doing this to begin with.
Nobody wants to wait for you while you tank on a bunch of tables.
