[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
Absolutely. I'm really looking forward to grinding this month now. Plus, I've already seen an uptick in traffic. I think that will continue as some of these issues get sorted out.
Does the card strike bonus release the amount right after you spin it or does it release after ‘completing’ some play afterwords to release it?
I believe it's immediate. I don't check my cashier as I'm playing, but it's always there when I end my session.
Does anyone else have trouble downloading the new wsop nevada client on their windows laptop/pc? I keep getting a virus threat that Mcafree stops and its so bad I cant even manually bypass it. Anyone know whats up with that or if theyre still working on the windows version or something?
I can use it fine on my phone and ipad. Well fine in that it functions. Its pretty funny to think they spent years on this and its utter crap. I think it would be better if they said they werent spending any time
I got around it through Chrome but even then had to fight with chrome.
Hey Marty,
Penny6 here... always enjoyed battling you heads up to start games. Maybe try turning off your animation in settings. That might help. Reload bonus from what I have heard is immediately set in once you deposit. Im talking to someone today to confirm before I deposit. Unforunately with wsop the only market in town they have all the leverage until competition comes.
Yea, always a pleasure and it's been good. I turned off animations, but no luck. Had 3 tables going and started to auto-fold me because of the lagging. Are you able to multitable without a delay? I never had an issue on the old software.
Also, is there a hand counter anymore? It used to tell you how many hands you've played on each table. How TF is anyone supposed to keep records? By manually counting the HHs? WTF
And the timebank preflop...if it's on auto, can we not activate it to have more time preflop if we aren't in the blinds? Literally gives us 10s before it folds out.
This is just crazy to me that ppl are complaining about the avatar options and sound when there are such bigger issues with this platform. I feel like I'm being trolled. LOL.

888caption has a table and session hand counter option.
Post session just open the history for any tables you played and scroll to the bottom, and you will see how many hands you played on that table and then subtract any where you weren't dealt in which is easily visible.
This is for the people that are lagging out and getting crashes. The new wsop software is harder on your GPU/graphics card than any poker site should be. I would recommend opening task manager and then opening one table at a time and monitoring the GPU usage. You may need to upgrade your GPU to a low end gaming one if they don't somehow fix the software.
Anyone successfully processed a cash out yet? Seems an absolute joke that they could transfer the account over but not the associated banking documents etc.

Finally today a cashout went through. I had to have them verify my documents even though they had been verified before in old system.

No sounds is a massive issue imo.
It means you have to literally be staring at the computer 100% of the time while playing(and even then I've had a few times where I didn't notice the action was on me and accidentally timed out). For those of us trying to play 8+ hours a day, this makes it impossible to make food/chat with a friend/have tv on background/etc.
I feel way more drained after grinding long soundless multi-table sessions than normal. It will definitely make me play less on the site if they don't fix it.
Anyone else having trouble with the auto top-up function?

I have a pretty old PC and if I try to watch youtube while playing it's almost unplayable.

I do not have any delay issues. I have a pretty good laptop. Back when i traveled to michigan for launch of wsop my old laptop would crash all the time.
I do not know about the hand counter
The timebank does suck. I switched to manual but there is not a button for you to click lol.
Right now the login page is not responding. Anyone deal with that?
Well after the monthly reset I played until level 9 today (probably 1500+ hands) and I made about $4 in rakeback. Effing gay.
Features Needed:
-Non holdem tournaments (PLO8 & FLO8 MTTs again)
-Buy In system that lets you customize your buy-in to whatever variable amount you want and not just "Min/Middle/Max"...Seriously WTF is that?
-Anything other than just 6max...So f'n dumb that they thought this would be the right choice of action. Why would recs want to sit 6max and lose their money even faster to solid regs? Might be the dumbest move ever if you're trying to attract traffic and make it more friendly for casual players. Instant action killer for their whole cash game side of the site. Beyond stupid and bad for business as a whole.
-A customer service department that isn't the absolute 100% worst in the industry. They don't care for anything about their player base for anything other than to have them keep playing. It's awful. Every issue is always the players' fault, they take no accountability, they give no feedback online for almost everything and leave their customers in the dark.
-A comp system that is at the bare minimum closer to the old one. I don't want to win "Blast" tickets, I don't want to play for 2 days straight and be lucky to get 10 dollars back. Even more frustrating for those loyal to the site since initial launch, Diamond card members, etc. Caesars keeps tightening up everything on their customers any way they can.
-Higher tourney guarantees (I know they'll be higher later but WSOP went rock bottom on these from the jump just so they could seemingly avoid having to incur any risk...pretty pathetic). They add Michigan and Sunday Major is still $100 buy-in/100K GTY...Seriously?
-Better tournament structures (more specifically even in the super turbos, give us a few more blinds to work with if we're going to be paying $50-$100 for a tournament)
-Chat (I think chat can be really bad for a site in some ways) That being said, how are guys going to be able to set terms for HU play, discuss terms like how long they'll play/what stakes, tell someone they'll "BRB," etc unless they have it? The way it currently is set up actually ENCOURAGES collusion because the only players who are successfully communicating are doing it on their phones when they know each other. Chat (especially in a small player pool can be ultra toxic, but there are more good reasons than bad to have it).
Features Wanted:
-Running it Twice
-Mixed Games (2-7 & A-5 TD, Stud/Stud8/Razz, Badugi, Big O, 5 Card Draw, etc) & Non Holdem-Tourneys (HORSE, Dealer's Choice, etc)
-HU tournaments other than holdem (like PLO8/PLO/Stud/Stud8/2-7TD, 6 handed tournaments other than PLO/Holdem)
-Bomb Pots and Bomb Pot Tables
-I'd love to play Double or Nothing tournaments like back in the day but this is just a weird personal preference since beating just half the field gets you double your buy-in back 😃
I think the real question is: How does a site in 2024 come out that is dramatically worse than the sites we played in 2004-2010? Even back then they had mixed games on their sites, great customer service, and great promotions. Seriously, how is the software THAT MUCH WORSE in today's climate from Caesars Entertainment/888 Poker lol? Caesars/WSOP had years to figure out this rollout and they almost ruined the WSOP online series entirely by waiting until the last minute to do it. And they put out some "YOLO" version still somehow riddled with bugs. We could've had this completely resolved for the most part probably in the early part of the year. What barriers existed at the time to prevent it from happening then? The real truth is that this company has skated by almost entirely from having a first mover's advantage in the market since their inception, and they are as lazy as they've ever been because there isn't/hasn't been competition and they haven't had to be held accountable without that competition. You can truly tell that the majority of people at the top know very little about creating a quality online poker site, nor do they seem very passionate about creating a good one for anything other than their own profit motive, and they're failing spectacularly at that too because they could be making SOOOOO much more if done right. I anticipate Caesars & 888/WSOP better figure it out soon though or other future sites like BetMGM will be crushing them in the very near future.
OK, this new WSOP.com software is running like dog ****. I have a 3070ti gpu, 5800x processor, and 32gb ram. The tables literally run on a slideshow animation. Pretty frustrating.

How long did it take them to re verify. I'm in the same thing now and its been like four days for something that seems like it should take about 1 minute per customer.
I reverified on the 29th and they approved my bank statement document on the 31st, yesterday.

Just curious, has your PC crashed on you with these specs? Mine crashes quite a bit when I have 10 cash tables open and go note someone or replay a hand.
