[CoinPoker] - Ex-Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)

CoinPoker: The Decentralized Poker Room Built for Players, by Players

Developed by an ambitious team of poker lovers, CoinPoker is a revolutionary platform that uses blockchain technology to address key issues in the poker industry. Despite being far from our vision for CoinPoker as the biggest poker room in the world, our team is proud to be the first project of its kind to deliver on the promises made during its ICO period.

Lengthy payment processing, limited transparency on fair play, as well as a blase attitude towards community feedback are just some of the prevalent problems in today’s online poker world. Since CoinPoker launched at the end of 2017, it has attracted a growing community of players and investors who share the same goal of bringing the game back to players.
Using Decentralized Technology to Ensure Fair Play
One of the key benefits of the blockchain movement is that it empowers users by adding transparency and convenience to traditional services. Poker rooms in particularly reserve the rights to hold player funds and release them at their own discretion, and as a result of complex payment systems simple transfers can be delayed by as much as weeks.

The Benefits of Cryptocurrency Powered Bets

All deposits, withdrawals, and bets on CoinPoker are powered by the cryptocurrency token CHP (Chips). The use of CHP speeds up payments, and gives players the ability to track payments to and from their account on the public Ethereum network.

CHP token holders are able to quickly move funds to and from their CoinPoker account, and for passionate advocates of the project it is a means to invest in the platform as it continues to grow and expand. It is also possible to exchange ETH tokens to CHP inside the CoinPoker app, making it as easy to acquire as one of the most popular assets on the crypto market.

Available on a growing list of exchanges including KuCoin and HitBTC, CHP tokens are in the process of being adopted by other gaming businesses in the near future.

Player Impact Shown on a Decentralized Random Number Generator (RNG)

Fast payment processing is not the only way CoinPoker wields decentralized technology for the benefit of the player. Random number generators (RNGs) used to shuffle decks in a variety of card games (poker included) have often been scrutinized by players as mysterious and, as a result, they are often approached with suspicion.

Trust is essential between a player and poker room for the experience to be optimal, which is why CoinPoker will be introducing a fully decentralized RNG this year. The feature will be the first of its kind in the poker industry, and will give players the possibility to view their impact on dealt hands in a visual dashboard alongside hand history.

Internationally Accessible on Desktop and Mobile

Players from all over the world are able to access our desktop client, and our launch of an Android app has already resulted in thousands of players hitting the tables while on the go. Coming soon is the release of the CoinPoker app for iOS, which we expect to release this summer.
CoinPoker’s Community-Centric Business Model
Central to our operations is carefully monitoring feedback from our players. The success of our ICO is owed to a diverse group of small and large investors, many of whom are now active players, and we feel a strong obligation to make sure their needs and wants are met.

This is why we have invested heavily in hosting epically proportioned promos from the get-go, in line with the promises made during the ICO period.

Millions of CHP Awarded in Large Scale Tournaments and Promotions

Since launching, CoinPoker players were given the opportunity to win a Tesla, collect over 400ETH in various tournament series like ETH Madness, participate in a 10,000,000 CHP Added Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP), and win millions of CHP in daily freerolls
and freebuys.

Introducing Rake after Operating Rake-Free Since the 2017 Launch

After boasting zero rake on games for over half a year, CoinPoker will be introducing rake as a means to facilitate future growth. The revenue will be allocated towards future promotions, development costs, and the funding of new and ongoing partnerships with leading poker associations to establish our brand and give players exciting opportunities to play across the globe.

how many bots are on coinpoker? If people do not need verify their name etc, its propably the most first attack idea to "hackers" to try and try again if they fail or get banned

I know the CP team is working around the clock, but any updates? I keep getting a message that downloaded files failed - do I need to download any new software after the last update? I also thought I saw GazzyB going live today, so I thought I check in...

Is it so hard to offer a software where people are able to even log in nowadays?

It's an attack from a group that has caused an outage on Facebook, Instagram, big gaming companies like Blizzard, govt websites etc. before. We're back online at the moment.

Back up at the moment, 3700 players online. That message shouldn't be popping up anymore, I know the one you mean though. Don't need to download any new software it should do it by itself now.

We have a good reputation for not having bots, that's one of our stronger points.

Hi, I just started playing on CP recently, my first day playing I got top 3 on the hold em leaderboard which was cool. I’ve enjoyed my playing experience.

Can you provide any details on how you’re confident you don’t have bots? I’m happy to hear you make that claim, but I’m interested in how you’ve accomplished this when your site has virtually no kyc protocols

Now it works fine, I deleted the old program, downloaded the application from the site, it was updated and for 2 days there is no problem, I believe in coinpoker, cryptopoker is the future

This site is an absolute joke. Won’t load again. Same “update check failed” message when trying to open the client. I’m sick and tired of all the excuses with this and the chp stuff. Anyone want to start a strike protest on this pathetic site?

Bit melodramatic, no?

Ofcourse you are going to disagree seeing you are paid by the site. Just you worry about making your shitty videos and putting Scotland’s name to shame. If you can even call someone from Inverness who now lives in London, Scottish.

We ban as soon as we suspect accounts are bots, colluding, or committing some other serious ToS violation. Some would say we even ban too quickly, but we don't take any chances with game security. And we have sophisticated detection tools.

This has been acknowledged by HS regs who are not paid ambassadors, for example Yodogoki, a $50/$100 reg

Fair enough, thanks for the reply. If you ever ban me for suspected botting, I’ll happily play on webcam for a few hours for ya! Lol

Why were all the tables suddenly closed?

I just cashed out from coin poker, and they charged me 5% for a crypto cashout.
I advice poker players not to cash into this site.
Just let them go broke. Nothing about this site is customer friendly.

It's free to withdraw USDT on the Polygon network

please add possibility to only show NLCG stakes per limit, so if I choose 0.5 I only going to see NL50 tables (for example), thx

Still unplayable for me. Going to withdraw my roll and hopefully redeposit and play again when the software is fixed. It's a shame because for the most part the software is great and the games are extremely soft. Just can't multitable without multiple table trying to occupy the same window making both tables unplayable.

Have about $400 worth of CHP that I can't convert to USD and I can't play through to get rakeback because the software is unplayable. Will these be auto converted to whatever the new rakeback token/scheme is when that comes out?

Does having tile tables on open and / or on close ticked help? I don't get this bug, with those 2 ticked in general settings. If you can email support@coinpoker.com they might be able to help and it will also help remind them to work on this - I have also just raised it again internally. There was an update today which fixed some bugs, and we're working on more fixes in the queue asap. Re: CHP yes that would be the plan, allowing players to convert / bridge tokens from one to the other.

But I don't want to cash out onto Polygon, and then pay fees to swap it again.
Also your site does not give the Polygon option right away. It shows the other one first, as you count on
people not knowing it, to make some cash on the side.
Just quit, seriously.
Don't try to weasel out, with your short statements.

@ Coin Poker. I cannot take any notes (anyone else have this issue as well???) which, after posting in the Discord thread, seems isolated to me - I play on a Mac Pro 2,3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, the OS is 15.3.1 (24D70. Any ideas how I can fix this/talk to someone that can help? This has been an ongoing issue since the last 2 updates - not yesterday's, but the prior one about 10 days ago. Thx!
