If they actually make it to NV I'll give them a shot, I doubt they'd be worse then current day GG, which may be turning into WSOP.

My old laptop worked fine with old software, worked fine with new software until after one of the updates over the summer. Since that update it's become extremely laggy, WSOP said it was my connection or laptop. So i upgraded my connection, that did not work. I upgraded my computer and that did not work.

I now play one tournament at a time

I went from playing 100+ MTT's a month to 10-15.

How did a guy switch seats at my table? Is that an option only on mobile or an I missing something on my labtop?

guys so im looking to play my more than 1 tourney every month..

i tried getting a hand history for a tournament i ran deep in the other day, and i read that i have to wait to request for one?

They probably left the table and then came back really quickly.

TLDR: I'm bitching.

In all honesty WSOP is the worst site I have ever played. This goes for the software, the lobby, and the game selection.

+ On my laptop, when it is my turn to act, the screen pops front, then there is an audio alert, AND THEN MY CARDS ARE DEALT! I know that this could be due to lag however, it also has something to due with how their server processes the sequence of action. IMHO the players cards should be dealt first, then the screen should pop front, then if the player doesn't select an action within a second or so, an audio alert. It's frustrating to be pulled away from one table were one is contemplating an action to another table were one is watching their cards being dealt!

+The fold button unselects itself. Many times, and I have focused on this to be sure, I will preselect the fold button on one screen, move on to select another table, only to see my fold button deselected, that screen to pop front, meanwhile I'm getting a time out alert on the table I selected to act on. Again, I'm sure this could be partly attributable to lag however, nothing else on my internet connection lags and I have never experienced this with any other poker software.

+Wait list: Multiple times I have been refused to join a waitlist. I will see a table in the lobby, click join wait list, and receive a message like "this table is no longer available". So, I will open the table and select join wait list, and receive the same message. I'm watching a full table play and I can't join the wait list. Never seen that before.

+The lobby: The way the lobby works I find it impossible to remain at a full table. I usually only two table. I will log on. Get two full tables up and running and before I can finish one hand on each table two players have left and two others have sat out. So, I will play 4 handed for a very short time and within maybe 10-15 minutes everyone will have left or sat out. So, I will return to the lobby and there will be two or three full tables going! I spend more time changing tables than I do playing! As an example, I logged in last night (Saturday prime hours) and there were seven tables going at my stakes. NONE OF THEM WERE FULL.

+My notes keep disappearing: I have seen other people mention this before. I think it's shady. I take extensive notes. That's why I only play two tables. I will mostly focus on the really bad fish and maniacs and note everything they are will to play for stacks with. Then a week later someone will do something crazy against me and I'm like, "OH! YOU'RE THAT GUY!" WHERE DID MY NOTES GO!

I think this is due to preselecting the fold button at the same time as someone else is making an action (as if that would change whether you're folding or not, lol), it's happened to me many times as well and it's annoying.

I think this is partially due to lag and some sort of delay with the waitlist being available to join after a table is filled.

I've had this happen a couple times and it's brutal. I started backing up my notes every week or two just to be safe. (The file is in Documents>NV.WSOP.com>your username>Notes)

Also, you can disable the screen popping in front when it's your turn to act in settings. That makes multi-tabling easier imo as long as you're able to keep up with the action on all your tables yourself. In the lobby, I will often click another format such as tournaments and then go back to cash games real quick. It seems to update what the cash games really are.

The new update overnight has made the lobby enormous, and you can't resize tables. Can these ****ing idiots get anything right?

It's only the first table. Any others you add can be resized like normal. If you close out the first table after having the second one open, you can resize it as well. The lobby is still huge though and I can't make it any smaller.

I didn't have the same problems you described. But I got "disconnected" five times in one hour. One of those times, I could still watch the action so I must've not actually been "disconnected". After one of the disconnections, my rabbit cards disappeared, then reappeared after the next disconnection. It's as if they're working on the software while we're playing, but they should just shut it down for maintenance. Anyway, it became unplayable so I may just take the rest of the day off.

It still baffles me that after this thread has been going on for years, they still don't have a rep in here.

Did they change anything with this new update? As far as I can tell the only difference is that it's now more laggy and more prone to crashes.

I have crashed three times today.

I have never crashed before.

I assume there is no easy settings fix or something.... and it's just something i'll have to deal with.

It's quite remarkable to go backwards.... and it's insane that they're this incompetent. But, of course, as always, not at all surprising.

Well I just saw that they increased the rake.

Also, no more card strike?

At least they increased the minimum buyin to 30x I guess.

My client tried to autoupdate but I got stuck at 99%, ended up having to redownload off the website. I'm not having any of the issues listed above, however the "poker sounds", which was always louder than everything I had running on my PC, is now like even twice as loud as it was before. I used to have my base PC volume at 50%, and then go into the windows volume mixer to put WSOP at like 20-25%. Now i have it at 5% and even that might be slightly louder than it used to sound to me lol.
