I watched a cnn report on the mission... the female host first question, 'Does it smell in the ISS after being trapped for MONTHS at a time?'

Well? Does it?

I give up... does it?

Astronauts describe it as a mix of antiseptic, garbage, body odor, and sometimes like a barbecue gone wrong.

amazing beautiful footage...

The new launch tower is a boy!

Flight 9 of Starship is scheduled for next Tuesday!

it's not tomorrow?

Yes, tomorrow at 6:30pm CDT!

With all the tests and changes that SpaceX is doing on this launch, lots of people are expecting more fireworks.

right into the pooper... it seemed to be performing exceptionally for most of that flight.

It appears that Starship V2 still has major plumbing issues. Better than last two flights but not solved.

People are theorizing that engine resonance is still an issue.

engine resonance will ALWAYS be an issue as long as they are using a combustion chamber design.

how are the space x launches going lately?

Today, Elon gave his talk about SpaceX's mission to Mars!

he said he'd put people on Mars by 2024

He's still working on the time machine, but he's close, oh so close.

It's definitely a tough problem. But look at the progress!

Oops.

4th of July is still 2 weeks away.

😆

Elon has a Political career?
I think he's way to busy for that non sense.

SpaceeX response about last night: https://www.spacex.com/updates/#starship...

Engineering teams are actively investigating the incident and will follow established procedures to determine root cause. Initial analysis indicates the potential failure of a pressurized tank known as a COPV, or composite overwrapped pressure vessel, containing gaseous nitrogen in Starship’s nosecone area, but the full data review is ongoing. There is no commonality between the COPVs used on Starship and SpaceX’s Falcon rockets.

Thanks for posting Mark. You keep me updated on all things SpaceX
