Netflix "Watch Instantly"
I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream a movie over the internet. The selection of movies/shows is subpar, but it's free baby! Well, free as in no extra charge. You can watch 1 hour for every dollar/month your subscription is and it doesn't affect your queued/shipped movies at all. Minuses are that you have to be running Windows and Internet Explorer, but the quality is great! I have a garbage laptop, but it looks the same as a DVD to me and it hasn't skipped/paused/hiccuped once so far.
Started on Vikings. Looks like 6 10 episode seasons (More or Less)
It's been in the Q for awhile. Reminds me of The Last Kingdom, which is a good thing.
Anyone who has watched it, does it maintain quality?
Last night's Law & Order was about Luigi and the Health insurance CEO titled "Folk Hero". I know they do ripped from the headlines all the time, but the trial hasn't even started yet. lol
The funny thing was as the jury was about to read the verdict they cut to black, such bs especially when last week they had a hung jury. lol
But if you watched closely it looked like a G was about to come out of her mouth and not an N.
Season 3 of White Lotus is objectively not good. Only upside is they kept up with having some hot chicks in there.

it fell off very hard for me and had to give up
really annoying because it could have been so great but they just wanted to constantly "raise the stakes" and it just created one silly event after another
Sigh, guess I'll need to renew my Netflix subscription.
Will watch anything with Stephen Graham in it and this sounds amazing
It’s really really good.
The first episode is kind of slow and sort of gives the impression it’s going to be a standard who-dunnit thing, but it’s way more unique than that and you’ll feel like you have to go back and rewatch it after you finish.
Episode 2 has gotta be up there with the best shot pieces of film ever. It’s like an hour set piece moving through the school taking a look at all the different parts of it, flows seamlessly, checks in on like 6 different characters off and on and never feels contrived.
Episode 3 is a showcase for this kid in the main role. Amazing casting and multi-layered performance by him, never falls into the trap of beating the viewer over the head with what it is “supposed” to be saying.
Ep 4 is just sad and will make you sad. Great illustration of what it looks and feels like to go through a tragic event and deal with your daily life.

The ending shot of episode 2 is amazing.
I went from Adolescence to Boiling Point movie and now I'm doing the Boiling Point series, which is pretty good. It's only 4 episodes which feels too short. I watched half of the latest White Lotus ep and man that scene with Sam Rockwell just feels so gratuitous, like trying way too hard to be shocking, thinking it's funny or something. And the scene with the brothers was also way too weird. Maybe these scenes are important for things that happen later but so far I'm not enjoying this season.

Vikings is good fun but its really really really not historically accurate, so that can annoy some people.
There's also 3 seasons of viking Valhalla, it's good entertainment, its not elite level.
i'd say 30% less good than last kingdom

it's actually decently common for many people that moved to Thailand to have stories almost as hard or as hard as this.
i mean ffs even on this forum we've had murderers that stacked girls in luggage and a guy who became a old lady prostitute.
Ah, the Pooter callback. Those were good times.
I tried watching Vikings after finishing The Last Kingdom, but it just seemed a bit silly and like playing at that period after the "reality" of The Last Kingdom.
Severance is the only show currently that I've made an exception for re:my watching policy. Not in the future. That second season was such a drop off. Disjointed is the best thing I can say about it. I think they got a little too caught up in the fancy play syndrome. I won't be watching future seasons until it is concluded.

I watched Vikings when it first aired and enjoyed it, but they did play fast and loose with history.
They moved the battle on both sides of the river to Britain (it actually took place in France), but LOL that some unknown monk captured by Vikings was the actual father of Alfred The Great.
David Blaine Do Not Attempt starts tonight on Nat Geo. I think it's 2 episodes per week.

Haven't even bothered to watch the finale yet because the season has been such a letdown. I'm writing it off as a sophomore slump and that the first season was so good it created impossible expectations. Happens to the best of shows sometimes.
I still like Severance more than any other show at the moment, but they are answering way too many questions for my liking (specific answers aren't even that bad)
Just finished bingeing original Dexter, plus the two spin offs. Phenomenal.
Wow, Fleabag is ****ing great.

Agree 100%.
No magic in the David Blaine show, just sick dangerous stuff. Episode 2 with the King Cobra is insane.
