I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream

The Perfect Neighbor was a pretty wild watch.

Like was said earlier, my biggest problem with Black Rabbit is that I hate all the characters. I'm rooting for all of them to go down in flames. Well except for the deaf guy.

I'm struggling with the Office sequel "The Paper". Not well written, no likeable characters except for maybe Oscar.

I finished all 4 seasons of Acapulco. Fantastic! Highly recommend it to anyone that is a fan of a Ted Lasso type of show.

I was also surprised and enjoyed Alien Earth. I think it is more accurately described as Jurassic Park but with aliens.

It’s fine and certainly not bad…IMO, it just stopped developing after being set up really well.

I don’t have much time for tv so I need to be super committed to keep going

Has the Pitt been discussed yet ITT? I’ve been enjoying that a lot so far

I think I'm in 3 different tv threads on here and The Pitt got tons of love in all of them. I haven't watched any of it yet, but it's on the list.

Black Rabbit is not bad but Bateman is nigh unwatchable as a protagonist who is constantly on the run from the mess he made before the movie/show starts, which probably means he is acting very well. Jude Law was also very hard to sympathize with.

I enjoyed Alien: Earth much more. Closer to Westworld than Jurassic Park, I'd say, but it starts off nice and Alien-y.

The Pitt is great indeed. An almost overwhelming pace throughout, but with feeling. First Hospital show I've watched since House.

I also watched The Terminal List and the prequel as per this thread's suggestion and if you can suspend your critical thinking it is good enough to watch while scrolling/gaming as basically a combination of veeery cliché spy conspiracy thriller + rambo/ptsd films.

Task is a good detective, Mark Ruffalo carries it well (thankfully not as cartoony as in Poor Things and Mickey-17).

Slow Horses is also back and still fun, albeit even more farfetched than before.

The Pitt indeed a really good watch. Noah Wiley doing good work.

Try Doc. A little more soapy... but entertaining.

(I'm stuck with medical shows as wife is a retired MD PhD and likes to diagnosis before the characters. She's rarely stumped, often irritated with procedures that are...... not accurate.)

Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy has been pretty good so far (on Ep4). It's definitely not as much of a dramatization as Monster: Ed Gein.

Loved Alien: Earth

Loving Chad Powers

Murdaugh: Death in the Family 2025 on HULU is good, maybe because I am so invested in the story. I saw the trial and all docs and shows about previously, and this has a lot of the intricate details from the trial, etc.

Boots on Netflix was pretty good, it's not all about the gay guy, it's a hard-core military boot camp with that mixed in.

Also, never saw Nurse Jackie and watched the first 10 episodes and it's pretty good, pill addict nurse that does a lot of crazy ****.

Even the main chef?

Even the main chef?

Yeah, her and Tony are fine.

Watched the first 2 of Black Rabbit yesterday. Liking it just fine so far.

I think this is the first full trailer for Pluribus, a show by Vince Gilligan starring Rhea Seehorn.

Makes me happy to see that coming out.

There’s no one in TV I trust more than Vince! I cannot wait for this show!!

Yep! I've been waiting since it was announced a few years ago.

I'm 2 episodes in to Black Rabbit. So far so good.

Watched The Long Walk last night. Fans of the book may want to temper expectations. It was fine, but as a huge SK nerd who's read that particular book more than once, it really kinda pissed me off.

Is the Long Walk that one with Mandy Moore?

Mayor of Kingstown season 4 is back on Sunday.

The HBO series It: Welcome to Derry starts Sunday also.

A huge Pluribus ad on the wall behind home plate in camera view every pitch for game 1 World Series. That had to be expensive.

I did not like Black Rabbit. It had promise then just got dumber and dumber. I watched it all the way through.

Tokyo Vice on HBO is very good. It’s my 2nd time watching it and I’m enjoying it almost as much as when I first watched. It’s a slow burn so if you aren’t patient, you may want to skip it.

Tokyo Vice was good.

Slow cook is Diplomat S3, first season was much better.

Disagree - I thought Diplomat 3 was excellent. Binge watched it over a few days and actually think it’s the best of the 3, although all have been vg

I waited to start The Diplomat season 3 because I knew I'd have to knock it all out. After 1 episode... Yep!! Reminds me of some of the best moments of The West Wing in how they work around what happened in the S2 finale. Love the bits of dark humor they mix in.

If you can get past the stupidity of the gimmick, Chad Powers is really good. It's got far more heart than I expected. I wasn't the biggest fan of the...

Show

Dude bangs the coaches wife, and it's found out almost immediately...

But the rest was great. I'd be down for a second season.

I'm only 3 episodes into Boots and it's really good so far.

Down Cemetery Road - From producers of Slow Horses starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson. First 2 episodes should be at 6pm PST tonight on Apple.

The book was better (god I love saying that). I think it is one of his best books.

That being said I really enjoyed the movie as well. I’d say the book is excellent, and the movie is great.

I didn’t enjoy the running man nearly as much by King. Curious how the upcoming movie is in comparison.

No Kings, except for Stephen!
