Things that shouldn't piss you off, but do.
Feel free to add your own. I'll give two really quick.
1. This girl I'm friends with on facebook makes a post about how s
I mentioned that, it's a culture thing, they are trying to be polite.
Cow'orker has a 'status' that basically says "dispense with the pleasantries, what do you actaully want?"
People who say "We didn't know how good we had it" when anyone with a brain who was around at the time knew just how good it was.
The LED floor the Big 12 used for the first couple rounds of the men's tournament.
The hardwood floor they replaced it with is a new level of ugly on it's own merits. The LED floor multiplied that with flashing lights during times out, and a bad surface for the players.
on a muddy flaking plain?

Hi!
Good morning!
Hope you are doing well!

Omg just state what you have to say I understand this is a cultural issue but three messages without a point is insane.
i hear you but when i was managing a team of 15 and had a performance review, hr told me everything is chill but some of the people fresh out of school are very upset you don't say "gm" in slack before you say what you're planning on saying
i pushed back and said that was ridiculous, she was like "why don't we open slack and go over them right now"
so we do that
she's like "see this 'hey guys remember that we need to need to get in those expense reports by thursday' well that would have gone over a lot better if you put a smiley face at the end of it"
i couldn't believe
but i since started forcing in some emojis and beginning stuff with "hey hope everyone had a good weekend" type filler and it got much better reception
want to be clear, this was with people who were fresh out of college and grew up with these kind of messaging platforms - it wasn't an issue for people who hadn't as they had zero expectations for what "a friendly" message looked like - they were purely judging it on content alone
also worked wonders in dating apps, had much better results putting in random smiley faces at the end of my sentences - it's dumb but it matters to a lot of people 😀
many people don't want every interaction to be strickly transactional and there is benefit to adjusting to your opponents style of play
Has nothing to do with any of that, these are Indians in India.
so ai not human
I think there's definitely value in adding a bit of basic friendly language to a "cold" IM, even if it's not a formal salutation. I know I'll react a lot better to "Hey gman42 I'm having some weird Outlook problem, you have a sec?" than I will to "MY EMAILS NOT WORKING" or something, even though the latter was "more to the point" and quicker to type/read.
Like I'll preface most of my messages with "Hey [name] quick question for ya" or the like, as it takes like four seconds to type, it just sounds more affable, and generally gives me the air of being slightly less of a dick than I actually am, which is valuable.
I do agree that the Indian thing of starting with a formal greeting and waiting for a response and doing a song and dance before they ask their ****ing question is maddening, though.

That is all I was referring to. I am all for politeness but also I am autistic and don't like navigating social interactions. Just tell me what you need, I am happy to help.
a thing that should piss me off is how this domain processes refresh post sequences through a would chipper before becoming public knowledge
Lack of apostrophe on main phone keyboard or, barring that, the fact that it's pretty random whether or not it puts I'm in the words along the top when I type Im.
Apologizing for a net shot in tennis. **** that, they should do a dance and point at their opponent when one dribbles over.
always thought that was passive aggressive anyway, such as the rest of tennis ettiquette love
hey rickroll your posting itt is transactional. 😀
so shy to emote
yet still want to feel human
so an emoji

Is that like 'sorry' in poker?
