I assume you mean horizontal? I've never figured that out either. When I was growing up a small town about 30 miles away across the state line on a well traveled highway had their traffic lights with the green on top and the red on bottom. I never heard a decent explanation for why. The father of a friend had red/green color blindness. When their family drove that highway, my fr

Wow, that's surprising. For exactly the reason you give, I would've guessed the state DOT (or whomever would be in charge) would specify the standard pattern.

Might be a repeat...

That Brach's Classic Jelly Beans (14.5oz) doesn't contain black (licorice/anise?) jelly beans. Not classic IMO.

👍

I was tempted to post this myself.

Butterscotch is good. Butterscotch shake at Cookout. Yum.

Now THERE'S a RED post I can understand!

Label maker uses 6 AAA batteries. If my math is mathing, this could have just been one 9v. Maybe electrical engineers would disagree.

Because it would have WAY less total energy and current.

E.g, compare a 12v car battery vs a 12v fob remote battery (extreme example)

Oh yeah, there is more to current than voltage. The AAAs have more amp hours. Thx.

Device could likely be powered by 6v instead of 9v so maybe four AA vs six AAA but maybe device size is better with more AAA than less AA.
