New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

Crazy Pita anyone?
pita
like a burrito
best served when eating it requires unwinding
I noticed that the Arby's app has $1 sliders! Good until March 10th.
Buf Chix Slider <- Getting hit by a bus <- All the other sliders
IMO, of course :-)
I just go with the regular roast beast sliders.
I like horsey sauce too much to deviate.
Roast beef is the best, but I throw a ham or smoked meat one in the bag to mix it up. Buffalo chicken I found way too saucy and I don't care for the ranch or whatever is on it.
No one has tried the new TB Cheesy Chicken Crispanada yet? If u have please provide a review!
I had to do a rare panic order on the TB kiosk earlier today as I discovered the Cheesy Double Burrito Combo was GONE :(
That combo was replaced by the Cheesy Chicken Crispanada Combo which I was too scared to try with zero info (and it is at a premium price).
It is super ****ing crispy. Like, shattering. It's also both under-and over-filled. Around the edges you can get a bite that is basically all shell, and at the bottom and middle you can get a bite that forces the filling out. Overall pretty tasty, but at the price point (in Northern KY at least) it's a one-time purchase. Almost $4 for something you can palm is a crime at TB.
Dam!
Not an expert, but I luv them Buffalo chickens. Beware, they come with ranch dressing. I hate that stuff so I always say hold the ranch.

Wendy's has a $1 single and $2 double in the app until Wednesday.
Speaking of the Red Head, they intend on introducing Uber-style surge pricing in 2025. WooHoo.
Tanner stated, “Beginning as early as 2025, we will begin testing more enhanced features like dynamic pricing and daypart offerings along with AI-enabled menu changes and suggestive selling.”
In case that sounds like a load of corporate jargon, let us break it down: Dynamic pricing, as defined by our friends at Investopedia, allows companies to set variable pricing that can fluctuate up and down throughout the day, depending on demand. For example, if you’ve ever seen “surge pricing” on your Uber app, this is dynamic pricing.
we suggest adjusting lunchtime accordingly if you expect us to provide the familiar level of customer service at current market price
I always eat my fast food at non standard times so I'm all for surge pricing as long as it's cheaper than current in down times.
QPC today was $6.59 here. Inflation is not dead yet.

Chicken mcmuffin went up to 3.29 from 2.99 (CAD). end of an era.. have at least 20 of these a month so this is going to change my life.
30 cents at a time?
Just imagine the prices if they didn't have tens of millions of people who don't know how to use a phone who pay full price to subsidize our BOGO meals.
The new savory chili sauce Rick's is pimping was good. It has some good heat to it.
Omg
Bennigans now has "Bennigans on the fly" .. coming to food courts and places like that
Although it is listed as coming soon, it is part of "foodiehall" near me in jersey, and i had a monte cristo tonight and it brought back such memories
