New fast food discussion/review thread

OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

ricks straws are now paper crappers.

Had dinner at the California Fish Grill a Southern California fast-food fish chain. Here's the fish and chips:

TOO minty?

Unpossible.

I have a friend who won't eat anything minty because it reminds him of toothpaste, mouthwash etc. I'm not that extreme but there's definitely a line for me that can be crossed.

Except for these, I don't do mint.

I rarely have a milk shake any more, but when I do it's always a mint chocolate chip with no syrup added. Most places seem determined to add chocolate syrup and that is just too much for me.

cummies.

Speaking of shakes I saw Wendys is going to have an orange dreamsicle frosty starting in mid March. Will definitely be hitting up the red headed stepchild for that.

It's hard to find a GOOD malt anymore...

Got high and went to Wendy’s to claim my well deserved free single Dave (expires TODAY)

Loaded up a JBC biggie bag and headed over, right at the turnover from breakfast to lunch, forgot to load the free Dave like a mega donk. So… a Frosty to acquire my free Dave.

After you polish that off, it's a perfect time to then go grab your free Western bacon Cheeseburger from Carl's Jr.

😀

Dmatz you should be a hand model.

Not even York peppermint patties?

And who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint?

horrendous garbage. i keep a ton of real straws in my car for this sort of nonsense.

A few weeks ago I was on foot and unbeknownst to me this Rick's had switched to disgusting cardboard straws. I had to go across the street to Wendy's, go in the side door and snatch a straw like a common criminal.

Oh yeah, I used to like those at the movies when I was a kid.
But they don't really compare to the Ghirardelli.

Are metal straws common anywhere else? Pretty popular here, I see quite a few people bring their own.

I had some. Of course, they sit in the silverware drawer, forgotten. Though I have left a couple at places when I've remembered to bring them.

I mostly go strawless nowdays, but I'm mostly drinking from a glass, not a paper cup.

Only one place I've been to here uses cardboard straws and I never went back.

Never thought of keeping a stash of straws but probably a good idea just in case.

'AC Burger' located in Harrah's Casino AC wants to show that they are environmentally friendly and they switched from plastic to cardboard straws.

Strangely they serve the drinks in a throw away plastic cup!?

I’ve heard more about straws than I’ve ever ****ing wanted to.

It’s all so performative and weirdly exhausting.

Had candied bacon whopper, not great.
