Recap for Monday:
wakeup:
10:30a

Contract work:
one bout
An addendum to my weekly contract goals, in an effort to increase the quality of each work bouts, I'm shooting to add two things.
1. Write a list of tasks I want to do for the work bout before I start
- I find myself drifting a lot more if I leave what I want to do ambiguous
2. Once I have input my security codes, go to my car and leave it in there until my second work bout is complete (unless I change locations er something)
I want to do this for 3 out of the 4 remaining days of the week.

Recap for Saturday:
wakeup:

Did taxes in two work bouts, 3.5 hours total

Poker:
3.9 hours of live play (17.4 hours for the week)
-mostly 2/5 and some 5/10/25
-biggest losing day to date (-3965). I think I played great up until my very last hand where I punted 2k.

I literally said deal me out cuz I was tired and was gonna head home, but there was 30 seconds left on a march madness game that I wanted to finish watching. Said oh wait don't give up my seat I'll stay for one more orbit. Proceed to punt. From theoretical perspective it was bad. From an exploitative perspective it was just a torch. building a more structured thought process will help with this.

Recap from last 4 weeks (Feb 24 - Mar 23):

Goals:
Write up Hungry Horse App questions

Minimum: 7 hours of live play per week
Target: 10 hours of live play per week
Stretch: 15 hours of live play per week

Actual:
Enrolled in Hungry Horse Bootcamp for June

STRETCH COMPLETE - 63.9 hours total for an average of 15.9 hours per week

When writing up my goals for Feb 24 - Mar 23 I did a quick estimate of how long it would take to pay back the hungry horse bootcamp. Two things have changed for the calculation. 1. the number of hours I expect to play per week is closer to 15 than 10. 2. The price tag is $7,500 not $4,000

Let's say the bootcamp earns me on average an extra $20/hour. (This is +4bb/hour at 2/5, +2bb/hour at 5/10, or +0.8bb/hour at 10/25). Those numbers seem very doable to me.

Let's say I play on average 15 hours per week.

How many weeks will I have to play to breakeven from the bootcamp?

15 hours/week * $20/hour = $300/week

$7,500 / ($300/week) = 25 weeks. More accurately, it'll be about 29 weeks since I plan to prioritize studying during the month of the bootcamp so I won't be playing as much.

Under those assumptions, it'll take roughly 7 months to see a positive ROI on the bootcamp. Am I willing to do that? snap call... prob not a snap call actually but a confident call.

I'll write up my goals for april once I get back from vegas.
It'll likely be the same live hours goal from above and studying the onboarding materials
