Pro Poker Talks: A Grinder's Coffee Break
First coffee break...
I am an online poker player. Been playing full-time for approximately the last 3 years. (6max cash)
I avoid using the word professional as I feel that the word is being used incorrectly.
I see professionalism as a pursuit, in anything really; you can always be more professional and do things better...
I will be posting anything I feel like posting and everything will be honest.
I am thinking of posting results monthly but I may decide to do it weekly or daily. I have no idea yet.
I will start with January's results.
All results will exclude HU as it has insane amount of variace and I want to keep it seperately. I may post HU results all together at the end of the year.

January obv. was a good month in terms of volume and results however I did way too little study and I had issues with my schedule and social life. That created emotional distress that i need to address asap.
Dont have a solid plan for February yet but I will set up one real quick and post it here I guess.
Overal study plan will be same as January cause I didnt do what I should have done, that is 3BP IP as PFR.
I want also to work on things that I did bad in January and that is table select better as well as respect my hourly rate on the tables and dont waste my time due to too much ego.
On top of that I wanna read more and I have a couple of books in mind... Firstly to finish for second time ''Blink'' by Malcom Gladwell and start ''Emotional Intelligence'' by Daniel Goleman.
I also have some ideas for side business that I wanna develop but it is also not clear yet in my head... I guess as everything else...
Coffee break over!

It's not the word which is used incorrectly, it's you who interpret it in your own way
Subbed, gl!
Did you set up a single owner LLC (Assuming you in USA) to book earnings and track expenses to? Did you try getting a mortgage yet? If so, was it difficult considering the source of income?
I appreciate the focus of this thread is on the 6max, but I am keen to hear about HU games. Do you get much volume in? and are you playing HU tables or just fighting empty 6max tables?
I've been playing 10nl zoom HU on party but looks like I've paid 15bb/100 in rake over 11k hands... and I'm losing small in the sample anyway. That said I find it super addictive and would like to put some time into the format.
