OP, what are your overall preflop stats VPIP/PFR/3bet?
GL
26/23/12 or something like that over the past 12 months. Each of those might be a little bit lower over this summer. Not sure what they are at proper 6-max only since I play 5-2 handed pretty often as well.
Just to be clear here, I'm not a heads up specialst by any means, but when tables open or are about to break, I will continue until the villain proves they 3b and/or 4bet very aggressively and station post.

Good start for the month I think. Still running hot as hell in showdowns but I take it. About 12% of the 'challenge' complete, which I think is pretty decent after 5 weeks or so considering where I started. Not super happy with the quality of my play so far, I'm still constantly spewing in spots where I shouldn't be.
Cool. It seems we play similar. I have 28/24/11. And could u provide these?

One of the most tilting showdowns in a while. Yeah MDA probably says fold river after Villain turn 2bet, but honestly not much reads so I thought a random whale might be here with a KQ, KJ as often as sets. Wasn't expecting this though.

And then this one exactly the same time as the hand above on another table. From my part nothing interesting going on, except that I knew based on previous action that I'm going to be doing zero betting or raising on the flop against this guy, no matter what the board. Not exactly sure what's the reasoning behind Villain's small turn bet. Makes most of my range kind of trivial and easy to play on the river. Honestly not an important hand but at least I made it to 50 lol..

Weeeee... Yeah looks spewy but thought I got pretty good reads on these. CO pot floats the vast majority of rivers (and turns, and flops), mw included, often with air. Bigger pots, smaller pots, doesn't seem to matter to them. Folds to river 2bets like 90% with a sample of 20 or so. BB knows that as well and therefore probably calls 88+ here. However, I don't think BB with passive reggish stats will ever believe I have worse than two pair in this line, and I'm almost certain they'll fold their KX. I don't think I've ever seen a reg bluff or go very thin large multiway rivers in this pool, so I do believe my story here is quite consistent. Was also one of the last hands of the day with all the rest of the tables gone, so maybe I just overthought about the hand in game and came up with this line. Full tables going on I would've been gone on the turn I think. Otherwise a good day as well so maybe some kind of winner's tilt 😃
Yeah, GG by BB if they call with KX or weak two pair here, I think they could if they had a couple of hours to think about the spot more thoroughly, but probably not while 6+ tabling.
you're sick man! Keep up the good grind!
Which country btw?

One of those effing spots where I should have thrown defense against 4b ranges in garbage. Yeah villain very reggish stats but 4b after raise just something like 10%. I mean sample issue as well, but that should take me into pool data which says "they don't 4bet enough, fold marginal EV calls against 4bet dummy". I mean yeah might be proven wrong when I get a larger sample of this guy, but no, I absolutely should stick to assuming their range is not where it 'should' be pre here, not at 20NL.
Oh well, happens...

Should probably x turn here mostly, but on the other hand I like barreling these mono flop turn brick boards (with or without a diamond ourself) smallish since I'm pretty sure the river gets a lot of folds in real life, more if it's a diamond. Now the river I think is a mistake with the Jd, because I think these 4 to a flush boards are under called by IP and a x there can potentially trigger the villain to jam all their top pair minus if they've done any MDA work. It probably does jam pure on the rare occasion JdJx triple barrels, but I think these guys station less than solver here with AQ and AKs. Dunno if they have AKo here as well or do they jam it pure pre. Seen people fold AA and show here as well. I would honestly consider doing that as well against most players in this pool.

I know I should probably be xr'ing the flop instead of the turn, but I've been perhaps a little bit of a turn xr monkey with weak lately, and this particular villain has been witnessing. The other thing I think going on here is that a pretty nitty 3b range has more KX and AA here than thory, and I don't think they'll be able to fold em since those ranges get into these spots less often, and then folding that part of their range becomes psychologically difficult. Or that's how I think a TAG logic probably works. Could be wrong though. The reason behind my pre call here with 66 against these kinds of stats is that I'd rather fold pre with hands like QJs, QTs, JTs, mid suited connectors, 77-TT etc., bc we're just gonna face more coolers then, and also have a more dominating range against us. In other words I think the mentioned part of the 'equilibrium' mixing/calling range has considerably worse implied odds against tight players than 22-66 and maybe 54s and 65s. With these latter two groups flops are quite easy to play imo, we either call/raise, or we don't and you fold. And I don't have those in my open range from UTG/HJ too often either.
Might be full of shit though, feel free to correct my logic, wouldn't be the first time I'm terribly mistaken.

Might be nitty just calling river against an aggressive whopper here. Not sure what MDA tells us about their C-X-OB line here, but are they gonna call often enough with worse than flush if I raise?

Do we raise river here? This guy's 4b is like 30 after open so no QQ, KQo, AQo combos there I think. 6 combos of sets, 1-2 87s, 1 KQs, 1 AQs, maybe some A8 and A7 if they adjust 150 bb deep given my smallish 3b for these eff stacks? Do their worse 2 pair even call in real life if I rip it in? Could I actually find a fold OTR here?? It's after all a large turn probe and slight OB line we are facing, so not seeing that many bluffs in their line either. I'll think about this hand for a few days more thoroughly this upcoming week for sure.

Pretty satisfying to say the least. Not sure why this guy opted to CBET that flop though. I believe that flop hits my range way better than theirs, and this guy should know I have back limps here that call their iso and flop the jackpot against their overpairs, hence my raise.
Not sure I like their river move when the board pairs. If river comes any other club then why not. I can see the logic with this in this pool though.

Lol was kinda waiting for this day to happen during this challenge, slows up my moving up ambitions a little bit. This after losing like 4 stacks during my last 30 min of playing yesterday (after winning like 8 earlier). Still quite happy and not bad enough for me to go back down to 10NL. Better run and better play tomorrow please 😂

Fish often do random spaz moves. Wouldn't be trying to understand fish logic too much randomness. NH and gl in the grind.
