What is nfnd?

Well, on GG it's 6.5 bb/100 at NL25 R&C and around 9 bb/100 at regular tables and this is before RB. At least that's why my tracker says. It must be a considerable amount though, cause they charge it at preflop as well. So apparently the softness of the players has to make up for no RB 😀

NFND = no flop no drop. So no rake on hands that end preflop without showdown. I'm pretty sure your PT4 rake data on GG is not correct. That or you play very very tight preflop. I played a couple of hundred thousand hands of GG rush 10-50 last year with a VPIP of about 25-28, and the rake was way more than 10 bb/100, like 12, and something like 9 bb/100 if you count the BBJ, flipout, and RB promo EV that you get back. But maybe it has changed, I dunno, but personally no way I'm paying one more penny of rake to them again as long as I have options. I really fucking loathe that site for other reasons as well, and don't respect at all any poker influencers who promote their business, and therefore their business practices.

Yea dude. **** gg. Such a ****ing cancer to interweb pokers.

After all those cheating scandals am surprised anyone still plays there.

Yeah man, I have one ore two actual scammy stories from my experience on GG prop bets as well, made the mistake of just engaging in them at all, should have been obvious some Russkie or Chinese 24 h BR challenge of winning 30 buy-ins or something from 10 NL at any odds is just obviously going to be a chip dumping challenge completed in less than 30 minutes by them, and GG saying jack shit about it after my "feedback".

Been on fire this month! Pretty horrid session today after I started, dusted off a lttle bit at 50NL but recovered at 20NL, still feeling I'm OK to keep on shotting 50.

Nothing special here from my part when it comes to how the hand should be played theoretically. Just wanted to share because this was literally the first pretty big pot at 50NL where I actually coolered someone instead of the other way around, and it just felt so amazing.

Ok was just posting this week's results and realized half of this "challenge", or whatever the **** we wanna call it, is now done, if we include MTT's as well. Been playing one or two tables of 50NL and 3-5 of 20NL this week.

4914.25 euros from cash, 106.16 euros from tourneys, so 5020.14 euros combined, or about 5.9k USD. Cash hourly hourly has been about 9.3 euros, but now it might be something like 14-16 since my average stake is higher, but we'll see. So I guess now net a little bit more than working at Taco Bell, since poker income is tax free here.

I now have a bankroll plan so that if my roll exceed X by 50 euros, I'll take one table from 50NL, if it exceeds it by 150 euros, I'll take 3 tables from there, if it exceeds it by 300 euros, I'll take all my tables from there. I usually play 4-6 tables total, rarely more. The X is an amount I set each month, and it's affected by my need to withdraw, which shouldn't be much if anything at all until February. It actually doesn't look unrealistic to be shotting 100NL in two or three months with this plan. The plan is partially based on Kelly Criterion.

Maybe one or two more days of some volume, then a couple of day Christmas break. But this week is now wrapped up.

Not much, but actual first full stack bluff at 50 that went through lol. Went well otherwise as well, ev up like 320 euros today, about 200 realized. Probably the highest EV uppity ever for me if we only count cash. Actually feeling pretty relaxed at 50 rn now which is something I thought would be much harder. But nah, it's OK, imma curb stomp this stake, or at least most of them there. Now however time for X-mas brake, wish ya'll a merry Christmas!

Pre: Pretty obvious they don't adjust their 4bet sizing for stack depths here so OK call I think. Also, this guy does 4bet more than premiums against hero in particular, and punts post. Not like over 4betting, but still doing it. They also have a low WWSF which means we get to over realize our equity post flop, even from OOP.

Flop: Nothing else to do imo.

Turn: No leads here probably, they snap checked back.

River: Them snap checking the turn imo pretty much announces their hand, and rules out overpairs or better when there are two flush draws on the turn. I could also have QQ, TT or 54 etc here, but tbh I would not be jamming them after IP turn snap check. Never expecting hero calls from AK here, not this deep at these stakes.

Feel free to disagree with how this hand was played 😃

Don't like my non-allin 4b call line in the hand below, should just 4b jam all day every day, since this guy seemed to mean business when it comes to "don't steal my fucking blinds". But probably not a massive mistake to assume we are OK to call in evening games on the eve of NYE. I absolutely did know GTO likely never calls AQo here, just made an assumption that in this case a close to zero EV losing call might actually be +EV.

Pretty haawt end for the month, obv sun running above EV especially at 50NL. Played OK for the most part, but 100% A-game would def have brought at least a few hundred more. It also took some time to get used to the clearly more aggressive field in 50NL. It doesn't seem too rocky though, it's just that there are some regs there who certainly play higher most of the time, but 100+ don't have much action at certain times on a small/soft site like this. You can kinda tell pretty quickly which players can be profiled as such.

This one was probably the most interesting hand to me in a while because I spent quite a bit of time during the last few weeks studying SRP flop 3bet nodes, and had an idea what I would like my turn range to look like. I wouldn't blame villain at all for playing this one the way they did up until the the river at least, based on what I've learned adjusted to how the vast majority of people actually play like when they are in my boots.

Not destroying 2026 so far lol, more like the other way around haha. But recovery in progress... Had to drop down from 50NL until I get back to where my BR was on NYE, so maybe a day or two more of OK'ish run at 20NL and then back to fiddy.

No goals set for 2026 yet, except managing to play 100k hands of 50NL before summer while improving, and then figure out what to do. I have been contemplating some CFP programs, but I'd like to get a decent sample of 50NL first and see what the results/data look like first.

January goal update: No more 15-stack cliffs please, and there is a chance this month may not become my first losing month of cash game poker so far during my life.

No goals really lol, who the **** cares 😃

Time for another try at 50NL this week I think, took long enough to grind it back up at 20NL, let's see how the rest of the month goes. Kinda gotten over my tilt now, it could've been a lot worse haha.

Dunno what to say about these games. The first two hands within a short period of time against the same villain. The ATs call was dicey, but they had been open shoving a bunch before this. Not really worried about this villain's shoving range, was just wondering if I can call this +EV given how many players are left behind. The second one abvious ofc.

One of the few actual meaningful hands today that I should study more, quite a bit of things going on here. Open questions are their/mine preflop ranges, my chosen lead size on the turn, and what size we want to bet the river. Give up checks on the river are imo out of the question with almost anything I could have here. This guy is a reg for sure. Their small sample size stats perhaps don't look like a crusher reg's stats, but this is a small pool and I'm pretty sure this guy is a player I recognize as a reg who plays massive volume everywhere from 50NL-1kNL or even 2kNL based on what I've railed other player's games on this site.

alive!

saved... for now 😂

it's hard to believe when we lose a lot very fast, but it's simply about believing in our edge and continuing to play.
that's easier said than done...

The single highest volume day I've played I think. Wasn't looking at graphs while playing this time, but midway I had a feeling that this isn't going well lol. Tbh, if I knew I was down like 6+ stacks at some point, I think I would have called it a day. Pretty happy I just decided to give zero fucks and keep on clicking. I think I'm gonna ban myself from looking at graphs between sessions, and even try not to look at them every day from now on. Just have to keep an eye on BR to make sure I'm actually rolled to play 50NL. Tbf that shouldn't really be an issue now, and there were just some hours today where I just couldn't find more than one or two tables of 50 I liked, and at some point just decided not to look at the lobby all the time and fire up some more 20NL instead.

January sucked balls, but can't run well for ages. 50NL shot has been failing but not too worried about it. Just gotta work my roll back up to where I feel comfortable potentially losing 500 euros in one day, and then I can keep on playing just that and see how it goes after a longer sample.

What do we think of these river donks (or earlier streets)? Couldn't think of anything else to post when it comes to hh, so just decided to choose a common theme, which this time is river donk bets.

H1:

Very low freq pre 3bet I know, but it is there against CO minraise. Also, I'm a bit of a 3b monkey from blinds against players whose LP RFI is very wide.

clarkmeister theorem in 2026? 😆 that's fun, i love to see it.

i don't like putting in money on the turn against strong lines where we may already be drawing dead, so i just fold h4, and for h1 i want to fold turn to the fishy minraise of death from what seems like a fishy player, as our 2p outs might not be good either. but i'm a nit... 😂
as played, you did what you had to do... hope he actually has an Ax portion (AQ+ / random Ax for cheap showdown / station with counterfeit 2p?) and aim at it.

Maybe a bit dicey but here we are. Pre call might be okay given we're going 4-way post. Could maybe raise the turn as well. River I dunno, none of the ranges or strats are even close to even MW GTO anymore. Might be a punt, but to be fair, put yourself in the river bettors shoes, and try to think in which universe calling with anything but the nuts is a good idea long term.
