2026 Poker Goals
Background
I am a full time engineer. I have been playing poker on the side since I started working in the corporate worl
April Update:
+2592 with 82.75 hours
I am finally up for the year! I want to say that I don't think I can fulfill my 200-300 hours on offline poker. Instead of that goal, I want to focus more on climbing stake online & improving my game... I really tried to put more offline volume last few weeks but it's really rough for me since it takes 3+ hours back and forth, slower game, shitty food, degening on table games and sportsbetting. Although the game is very soft, I think it's more negative EV for me in life.
Here is my most recent graph. Obviously I caught heat last few thousand hands at my main stake 200 NL but I am getting hang of the new pool on BetMGM. I am happy that my redline is positive.. But it tends to go down when I play 6+ tables which is understandable.. so I think it can go even higher!
This is the first time I ever had 200 NL hand sample on poker tracker due to WSOP TOS. I am happy to see that I am beating the game the game currently. I hope I can beat the pool with 10+ EVBB with at least 100k hand sample size!

Are u still only playing on wsop.com? Whats ur location and what other options do u have to play online? There are plenty more sites with soft games running. I personally play on coinpoker since a few months and i must say the software and the games are great. How much rakeback to u get at wsop.com?
I am in NJ. So.. I personally only play on regulated US pool thus far. I primarily put most of my volume on WSOP till this year where I started putting more volume on BetMGM. I think in the near future, I will start putting volume on Pokerstars where the company merged with Fanduel Sportsbook. Also if BetRivers gets regulated in NJ, then I will also add more volume on that as well.
Rakeback wise, I am not sure on Pokerstars, BetRivers, BetMGM but on WSOP, players get 40% rakeback after level 84 which recycles every month.
I have never played cash on unregulated sites besides Ignition few years ago but now it's infested with bots. How's coinpoker? And what stake do you play on that client? I do see a lot of midstake game running but I haven't jumped on it yet. Regarding soft games, I don't think it can match our pool... it's pretty guaranteed to have 1-2 recreational and 1-2 toilet reg.

lol shill.
The coinpoker games are very reg heavy and the rake is horrible. They are deceptive about how they calculate rb as splash the pots and leaderboards.
Look up who owns coinpoker and clickout media.
Thanks, mate! I wonder if I can win on world wide pool. You only play on GG? or you plan on coin as well?
I play only on GG and yes at NL2 basically up to NL10 games are easily beatable mainly because of good rakeback, i see you play NL2 so if you play 9max deep antes at GG you will be playing basically equal to NL5 6max, also because of flipout tourneys 9max NL2 has the highest rakeback and basically impossible for you to lose there, if you play good volumes, here main trick is to at least get any 10-15$ prize from flipouts 1-2 times per week and your rakeback can be as high as 15-25bb/100, its just cheat code for NL2 so yes you will definitely win, also i heard something about honeymoon for new players you can boost your bankroll by a lot.

Oh I see.. I don't play NL2.. it's just how pokertracker shows NL200 lol
I think I am up 1 buyin this month. Better than being down! Been a roller coaster months thus far.. was up close to 20 buyins then down 20 buyins. Most of the swings are due to PLO tilt. I gotta stop playing PLO.. especially PLO 6! I get bored of holdem then wander off to the DARK SIDE lol.... I got so tilted and went all the way to 1k NL & 2k NL momentarily. I lost a 1k buyin in WSOP and won a buyin in betmgm. I want to play those stake regularly one day but not like this π
Here is my graph for the month. My redline is starting to struggle for holdem which I don't like to see... I want to keep it in the positive side. Maybe the regs are adjusting to me or I am not playing my best game. For PLO, I have no words lol
Holdem

Omaha

Overall Holdem graph for the ytd. Need to work on the redline and greenline π
