is there anyway you can stop these popping up or auto close them

just a quick thing don't know if it bothers anyone else but on StarsCaption [haven't noticed it with 888 or party caption] i noticed certain 'tracks' that run for the RNG, for example i randomly noticed sometimes when it hits a 96, it'll go in the same sequence of the next 5 numbers,[80,35,70, etc..] leading me to believe it's just on some sort of a loop. i know it's prolly not that big of a deal but for some reason it bothers me. jus wondering if anyone else noticed that 😃

Here in Pennsylvania there has been a rollout of new software updates over the past two months at all the sites: Stars/888/Party

I can no longer geolocate when I run any of these poker clients as an administrator.

As you know it is suggested that Caption and the poker client(s) BOTH be run as an admin.

Do you have any suggestions as to why the new software updates to these clients wont let me geolocate? They all use the same geolocation software called: PlayerLocationCheck from a company called geocomply and I think there is some sort of high level conflict happening with that and the poker client. I also tried it on a few different PC's and it wont geolocate runing as an admin on those either.

To clarify l:

Stars and Party clients run fine when I don’t run them as admin. I can run stats and party caption as admin and it works as normal.

The problem is when I do not run Wsop as an admin, then 888 caption behaves wonky- basically my hot keys stop working after a certain amount of time and my fold button (middle mouse) button only works about 50% of the time when clicked.

My assumption is this is an issue with both caption AND client not being both run as an admin bc it use to work fine up until that point.

However I simply can’t geolocate on ANY of the PA sites if I run the clients as an admin

I'm not sure if this will help, but you can try.

I googled what Geocomply is and it seems to be a third party geolocation plugin. I downloaded and installed such plugin for FanDuel (to understand what I will get as a result), and it was installed in this folder:
c:\Program Files (x86)\GeoComply\PlayerLocationCheck

Please check if you have it there too.
If you have it, then you can try to configure this file to run as admin:
c:\Program Files (x86)\GeoComply\PlayerLocationCheck\Application\service.exe

Reboot you PC after this and check if geolocation in WSOP.PA works for you now.

If this doesn't help, I'll try to think of something else.

Is the problem only in hotkeys? (when 888Caption is running as an admin, but the poker client is not)
Do both mouse and keyboard hotkeys work poorly, or is the problem only with one of them?

Try to turn on WSOP hotkeys completely in a poker client settings (Game settings / Hotkeys) and check if it will work better.

I had this problem in MI. I tried everything. Switching my antivirus is what helped me. I am currently using the windows built in firewall and antivirus.

It worked! THANKS so much brother! I had disabled the Antivirus before as that seemed like a good first logical step, however the problem didn't resolve itself. It wasn't until I read your post that I decided I would completely uninstall/remove it from my PC rather than merely disable it. After the reboot, it allowed me to geolocate in admin mode. I have spent many hours/day/weeks trying to resolve this. FWIW, the antivirus I had been using was 'Avira' if anyone else runs into this problem.

I shudder to think I almost had to continue using Jurojin, some of the worst buggy bloatware I have ever seen. They are still rolling out features Caption had 6 years ago.

What version do you use now, and what type of the poker client?

If you have an old version of the program, first update it and make sure that the problem still exists.

It may depend on what store you bought it from (not all of them are quick to pass on orders to me).

Hello @LikeAA, how can I exclude the keyboard hotkeys on partycaption? (for example, I don't want it to make me bet when I press "enter" by mistake :( )

There is no such option, although you can configure Enter as any of hotkeys you don't use (Hotkeys / Mark the table 2, for example)

In this case, Enter will not work on the table (but only if this table is under the mouse)
If that's not enough, I can add an option to have Enter completely blocked on tables during your turn.

Many times after a stars update, my favorites for tournaments are no longer there and my hotkeys on the stars software is no longer there. I do have hotkeys on starscaption. I do not have any hotkeys for the stars software as it got deleted after the update. How do you save the stars favorites tournaments and the hotkey settings? This is with the stars client settings I am talking about.

I use a certain hotkey for fold and I notice in many tables, unless I bring my mouse and hover over the fold button and click fold, then the hotkey I use for fold doesn't do anything? Previously it didn't matter if I hover my mouse on any portion of the table and I fold with that button. Is there a way to fix this? Back then I remember having both stars and starscaption hotkeys... I would enter very similar ones and pretty sure I enabled it on stars. When you do that, that was no issue right? My hotkeys for starscaption was always enabled but I am pretty sure I had it enabled for the stars hotkey client as well.

What would happen if say you use a certain hotkey like W for 50% pot with stars hotkey settings and say 100% with starscaption and both are enabled. Does it use 50% or 100%? But the main issue seems to be my starscaption hotkey for fold doesn't seem to always work unless I hover the mouse over the fold option and then click on that hotkey for fold?
