The "LOLCANADA" thread...again

So what's new?

I've noticed the Liberals are now ahead in all major polls and Trudeau hasn't even started to campaign yet...i'd be shocked if they lost the election now.

Just shows just how incompetent Conservatives are.

Wow what a strange 24 hours in politics .

A horrible day for the Liberals and PM with Freeland resigning and the letter . Add in the 61.9 billion $ deficit and next year a 49 billion projected which means 80 billion and with the potential tariffs . The speculation is Freeland stayed on as she wants to run for leadership. Not so sure how that works for as she has been a loyalist for 9 years and yeah Ok she spoke up the last few weeks or months on JT's GST holiday which was a 1.6 billion $ amount . Canadians want a change and its not a Freeland run Liberals

As for Pierre I thought he did fine let the ship sink and just watch . This was a gift to him and you know they will use Freeland's letter with the line about political gimmicks in ads

Jagmeet was just terrible. Calling for Trudeau's resignation but will not say he will vote non confidence.

My guess is Trudeau takes the holiday break and lets us know what his plans are in late Jan. I have no clue how he doesn't resign but that Ego of his who knows

I never thought the polls could get any worse for Justin .....

Not a good time either with the transition down South

Trump the liberator!

Trudeau says he is staying on but going to reflect on his colleagues quiting on him. No Canadians want him, people don't want to work for him but he's staying on to "reflect" with no election in sight. We are ruled by a hostile regime.

Oh Jagmeet could end it any day . I know his Ego is so large but part of me can't believe the man is still here by the End of January but the other part not shocked if he refuses to go . They can not force him out either like other parties

Broken YouTube Link

Has anyone even seen Justin in public since he returned from his meeting with President Trump and co.?.

This is the drainage of the corrupt DS puppet swamp. Canada was one of the most DS controlled countries out there outside of Ukraine of which Putin's gonna end up taking a chunk of (he deserves it for fighting the DS head on in their biggest stronghold and shutting down their bioweapons program, which isn't a "conspiracy theory" anymore since these things were spoken about at gov't hearings), and we'll just take Canada. It even sounds pretty good too when you say "the State of Canada". Maybe I'll move up there at some point, who knows.

Congratulations to our northern neighbors. Rumor has it that Playbig is contained here as in was the last thread in which he posted conspiracy crap. Thanks for taking him! Don’t get him wet or feed him after midnight.

I heard Quebec is getting scooped up by France so you're not gonna be part of the merger. Trump said there's too many trolls there he doesn't want them.

It’s all good , Canada and Quebec do not want him
Either .
Maybe Alberta but that’s about it .

I thought Quebec was part of Canada ?

The west will take him 😀

Funny I was watching a segment of Breaking Points on Tariffs and Seger could name 4 provinces only and wasn't sure if Calgary was a province . Krystal was just silent knowing none as well

If they don't want him, they have no choice .

It's already done deal .

Justin will still be the governor and you'll be able to keep your national anthem too, it will be your state song.

Change is good. It had to be this way.

Wow Trudeau picking a new cabinet tomorrow I guess he’s staying

Yeah, it would appear that way - ****ing dipshit's not going to be happy until he decimates the party worse than Mulroney did to his.

Are you both you really surprise ?

by Montrealcorp k

Are you both you really surprise ?

Not at all

What got lost in the last few days was the byelection in BC that was a liberal hel riding and the conservatives won it with 67% of the vote . Liberals had I think it was 17% and the NDP worse

You seem angrier than usual. Inflation went up and Trudeau correspondingly dropped in the polls, as in many countries, it didn’t magically change the efficacy of his suite of policies. Did you see the stat about how wages have once again risen faster than inflation? The anger is misplaced.

Singh spent 5 days waffling and unwilling to commit: but he now confirms he will vote non-confidence. Lozen will be delighted. Although still waffling “next session” could mean like the summer or something not the FIRST opportunity.

So sounds like the choice for Trudeau is to run for it and accept his fate, or to prorogue before the new session end of January and go for a leadership election.

I would guess he would be angrier at how Canada looks on the world stage . You have a party that is in disarray and a leader that is just nuts. I

Government estimates and the CBC two trusted sources OK . White Christmases and no Forest Fires Kudos Justin

I hope the narcissistic ego driven idiot does run again

I guess that is a good indication of my point. Just unbridled rage but if you read through the hate typing, there isn’t actually any substantive critique of policy it’s just accusations about “narcissism” whatever that means

No, not sure why you think I am.

First off, it's best not to read emotion into posts or you make mistakes like this. Second, none of your points have any relevance to my frustration with JT. Like, when have I ever uttered a single word about inflation being a reason JT needs to go? Not everyone who has had enough of JT is at that point because of silliness like "durr, eggs cost more, get rid of current government".

I'm not looking forward to the inevitable upcoming Poilievre government, and would prefer there was a strong opposition. Every day that Trudeau desperately clings to power makes that less likely. For that reason alone, he needs to go. Then when you add in the deficit ballooning from $40 billion to $61 billion+, which I understand doesn't even include the $4.5 billion for the $250 "rebate", I can't see him out the door fast enough.

Many people who support progressive government policies are ready to see Trudeau go, which should be obvious if you look at the polls. Had he read the tea leaves and left a year or two ago, it's even possible that Poilievre and his simplistic "common sense" culture war talking points would be falling flat and we could continue making progress in this country. Or at the very least, the best he could hope for would be a minority government. But because of JT's arrogance and/or stubbornness, he's driving the Liberal bus right off a cliff. I'm sure they'll recover eventually, but not in time for this election, and definitely not while JT is still driving.

I could list all the broken promises, corruption and lack of fiscal responsibility but it would not matter to you .

For me the biggest issues currently are fiscal responsibility, healthcare and affordability . All 3 things the current government is screwing up.

Sadly as much as Climate change will effect your kids and there kids you seem to fail to realize so will out of control spending and deficits
