She didn't do well in the primaries but that's not the ame as saying Dems don't like her. Gore, HW Bush, Biden all did poorly in the primaries; that's why they became VPs in the first place. They would have run for president if they didn't.

Trump flamed out in 2012 and didn’t do well in in 2016. Only reason he got the nomination is there were so many candidates of the exact same ilk splitting the vote
Edit: it took 36 primaries in 2016 before trump got his first state with >50%
