Donald J. Trump (For everyone else)

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

Cockwomble -

According to the Urban Dictionary, 'cockwomble' is derogatory British slang for a person, usually male, who is prone to making outrageously stupid statements and-or inappropriate behaviour whilst having a very high opinion of their own wisdom and importance.

Bryce is a few clowns short of a circus. Last month:

On the first episode of ArkanSanity, on Jan. 24, Mitchell said that, based on his own research, “Hitler was a good guy.”

“I really do think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy to go fishing with,” Mitchell, wearing camo in a man cave full of firearms, told his co-host Rolando Delgado, who is known as Roli. “He fought for his country. He wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out that were destroying his country and turning them all into gays.”

Funny how the luciom and maga of this world are against state violence.
Praise peace under trump and yet saying fight fight fight vs anyone not thinking like them ….

It should raise red flags when they all keep saying fight, fight, fight when they already won the election and control all branches of government, but not to the tards.

I predict that dude's kid loses at least 1 of those fights--Bigly 😀

tards in your dialect. america is coming back.

The average American voter:

i guess i'm stupid too because i don't understand his argument either

So DOGE gutted multiple federal agencies that accounted for far less than 1% of the budget for a total maximum possible savings of 8 billion dollars. They also list a bunch of programs on there that they canceled despite them being fully paid for already.

https://www.removepaywall.com/search?url...

Basically DOGE proved that the government actually was running efficiently and that the things adding to our deficit are quite obvious— medicare, medicade, social security, and military.

Anyone with basic political knowledge would realize this is true.

If you have an extra $8 billion to throw around at some bullshit, I'd love it if you tossed even 0.1% of that my way. I have plenty of bullshit in my life that I'd like to do.

8billions divided by 210millions Americans (60% workforce) is 38$ .
I’ll send it to you through pokerstars since you are so cheap ...

What a success doge end up to be .
The waste and fraud was as usual so « factually big » from maga and trump perspective …..

Must be a big chunk of fentanyl in that maga koolaid .

I want $38.

i find this kind of mental gymnastics abhorrent as it just excuses away everything and is exactly why we're just piling on more debt each year

we're spending at the same equivalent levels of gdp that we did during wwii that is untenable and you need to start somewhere and start cutting

The mental gymnastics was to make believe 38$ means the entire U.S. government is corrupt and fraudulent and trump will save America from it ….

If we think about all Americans it end up being 22$ …..
I’m pretty sure people get screwed more then that by buying trump coins or any other $h!t he sells …

it wasn't so much a response to you - but every single time we discuss anything like about government a lot of people make things sound like a fait accompli

"put a few billion together and soon we'll have some money"

"you realize that the 20 million we wasted on that project that never happened is less than a penny from each tax payer"

and that general attitude is exactly why we spend 3x more per mile of road in usa than europe and 10x that of china where we can just dismiss a road project as "insiginificant"

over time it becomes unsustainable and we need to stop

Fair enough and sure .

But for me it’s more about the narrative that goes behind doge when it end up to be ,
as its almost always the case with trump and maga fears , conspiracy and all the danger crap USA are in ,
A big nothingburger .

« They eat the dogs, by they eat the cats »..

It’s always exaggeration over exaggeration non stop .
And still people believe all that crap again just because they can’t look at themselves into a mirror and realize maybe my life sucks because I’m the problem and not the government…

by Montrealcorp k

On an individual scale, yes, most people's lives suck because they are the problem. But when you zoom out and see that most people's lives suck because they are the problem, makes you wonder if something else is afoot. In an environment where chance for success is extremely low. For a lot of people. We probably all agree on this. The solution, or a way to improve the situation, is where there's maximum disagreement and hostility.

I say we start by cutting Musk's $22 billion contracts. He should set a good example and start with his entitlements.

you seem to oddly think i like the guy, i've long been on record calling him a fraudster

i am not well versed in the greater ecosystem of solar/electric/space to have an informed opinion of whether or not those programs which made him rich are a net positive to the country or not so i'm not going to say yeah or nay out of hand, but i'm guessing if it made him the richest man on earth then perhaps they should be at the very least consider dropping down in magnitude if not removing it entirely

You commented that we need to cut spending and racking up the debt; I agree and listed a way to get things rolling. Why you misconstrued that as me calling you a Musk nuthugger, I'm not sure.

it's possible i'm mistaking you for someone else but that response was more based on what i remembered to be posts from you earlier declaring i was a musk nuthugger and given that context it felt more like an attack than agreement

USAID alone was more than 70 billions so something doesn't compute here

by Luciom k

USAID alone was more than 70 billions so something doesn't compute here

The savings that would come would be from congress not choosing to appropriate more money to those programs. Whatever amount he was able to save there came from terminating appropriations that had already been given. That budget is discretionary meaning it has to be approved by congress on a continual basis.

Most foreign aid programs are funded through discretionary spending, primarily through the State-Foreign Operations appropriations bill (smaller amounts are funded through various other appropriations bills, including the Financial Services, Agriculture, Interior-Environment, and Energy-Water appropriations bills). For FY 2024, State-Foreign Operations are currently being funded at the FY 2023 level under a continuing resolution that expires on February 2.

While base discretionary funding covers most of the foreign aid obligations, these programs have received extra funding through a series of supplemental emergency funding bills over the past two years – driven primarily by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but also to help with migration and refugee assistance after the U.S. ended military operations in Afghanistan.

Thus you can’t “save” money that was already spent. If there will be “savings” in the form of not spending future money it will be by congress simply not appropriating that money going forward.

And again, DOGE themselves don’t even count that towards the figure of money they are personally saving.

Wait a minute, all my life I heard max bootstrapping mentality is the way and losers are lazy people.
Now you're telling me it's because of their environment?

It’s a nothing burger ultimately but the AP/Gulf of America banning thing is pretty amazing.

WH- We are banning the AP for pushing a radical leftist agenda by refusing to say Gulf of America

AP - That’s a blatant 1st Amendment violation.

WH - Nevermind, actually it was entirely a space management issue.

AP - Here’s a letter in which you explicitly state that you are banning us because of the gulf of America thing, and 20 video clips saying the same.

MAGA's - Fake news

Seems to be some more confusion between CPAC and The Historically Incorrect Roman Salute Fanclub.

This is as confusing as when I went to a meeting of the National Association of Marlon Brando Look Alikes.
