If i had a different life history, it wouldn't be me. I exist uniquely and exclusively because of who my ancestors were and my lived experiences.

No veil of ignorance makes any sense and we cannot pretend to be something else than what we specifically are. The is no luciom without exactly everything that happened to me, and it makes no sense to pretend otherwise.

Imagine a parallel universe in which Luciom is a radical lefty and CN is hard-core MAGA.

So you believe in only one possible world? Seems weird. That means you have to believe that the possible world where all your experiences are exactly the same but you are composed of one less atom is a completely different you.

No one talks about this ?
Fox News , far right and the christians way !
Yup no crazies, no hate , just true freedom ….

Not just 3 days after CK being shot by evil radical left (supposedly) and this is what you hear from them (no supposition, it is real) ….

Several of us have agreed what an awful thing BK said.

Yes if you’re not ethnically British you’re not ethnically British. I’m not sure why you thought anyone thinks otherwise. If they don’t believe that British ethnicity exists in general then obviously no one is ethnically British so the same applies.

What on earth are you talking about now? There's no such thing as "ethnically British" when the Scots, Welsh and English have small but identifiable cultural differences.

by Luciom

He wants us to count that horrendous crime basically impossible for AN ACTUAL BRITISH HUMAN BEING to commit.

Still running away like a coward from your latest stupidity?

That’s what I said. Can you not read?

Doubting it with your "if" is the problem because it shows you have no clue what you're talking about. Many people here call themselves Scots, Welsh or English before or in place of British.

which stupidity? you had to go many decades back to find an example of what immigrants did more in the last 20 years than the totality of british people in the previous 1k years

Good point.

yes sure, end? it would be even harder to become english than british for an immigrant, same reasoning applies.

Instead for you the rwandan son of 2 rwandans was welsh lol. Literal "welsh chorus boy" descriptor in leftist media.

fyi first gen immigrants and from personal experience many second gen immigrants don't call themselves Scots/Welsh/English because they have their own culture that they're keen to preserve. Some do, some don't but phrases such as "British Indian" are a pretty common way for people to self-describe.

I've never said the killer was Welsh so stop making things up.

So wait if you are born as a rwandan from 2 rwandans parents IN WALES, you insta become british. but not welsh?

Correct at last, just as the people with Indian parents who emigrated here often call themselves British Indian not English.

These things are complex and not a hard science and are hard for you, someone from something like a monoculture and CRD, someone who appears never to have left his home State, to appreciate.

lol then it's truly insane given that british is the sum of englush welsh scot and NI and you cannot be british without being any of the 4 definitionally.

People can "feel" whatever at this point i mean but you are the people inventing meaning , not me.

No that's not true. The area of land that is GB comprises England, Wales and Scotland mainly. NI is not part of GB.

"British" is more of an evolved colloquialism and generally means a UK passport holder.

Please tell me this is a Babylon Bee article.

I've been boating my entire life and I've never heard the phrase "man overboard ". If someone falls in the water you're much more likely to hear "oh ****" or something similar. Probably not an issue to get your panties in a wad about.

Unlike you, I don't wear panties.

That said, since yachting is a pastime primarily for wealthy, self-important, white snobs, how about "Full Speed Ahead!"

Great undertitle suggestion!

pretty sure "man overboard" is what gets shouted on cruise ships as well as other type of vessels if someone is in the water. In italian it's "uomo in mare", and the procedure of what to do it's called "uomo a mare" procedure for us.

The actual pasttime of wealthy self important snobs is to try to chance expressions that use "man" as generic for human being because of "equality"

I assumed "Man Overboard!" was the 'official' protocol.

I learnt it from tee-vee.

I'm pretty on large ships like navy vessels they have specific procedures to follow
