US intelligence agencies ordered to declassify UFO intel.

Are we being prepared for the truth regarding UFOs? Or is this some kind of psyops operation being conducted by the US m

Avi Loeb is a grifter imo. He opined oumuamua was an alien probe, then claimed fragments of a meteor found in Papua New Guinea was consistent with alien technology, and has recently opined 31/atlas is an alien spacecraft. Basically anything new and/or unknown is due to aliens. He comes across a a crank at best.

Thanks. I think I remember him now. Still that's the kind of stuff that keeps the public interested in cosmology. Outside of science and curiosity, no one cares about a lifeless universe.

Re the Wow signal you mentioned- it had showed up on the hyrdrogen line frequency, which was what made me open minded it was an actual alien signal, hoping to find another intelligent civilisation who would understand the hyrdogen transition. But I do think the magnatar theory re a hydogen cloud being amplified makes sense and is probably what it really was.

I kinda agree re Loeb and initially found his theory on oumuamua intriguing. But when he then starts opining on multiple transients as being alien, I just find it harder to take him seriously.

Exiting new UFO analysis of historical a...! ๐Ÿ˜€

Researchers at Nordita at Stockholm University have analyzed flashes of light on astronomical plates from the early 1950s and found statistical connections between the times of these flashes, nuclear weapons tests and reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). The results are presented in two studies published in Scientific Reports and Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.

They basically had a look on astronomical photos fom pre-Sputnik times and found pattern that look like the short flashes that artificial satellites somtimes produce when their straight surfaces align such that they reflect the sun light - before anyone ever shot a satellite into space! ๐Ÿ˜ต

Moreover, the dates of these observations have some staistical correlation to dates of known large scale UFO sightings, as well as nuclear tests! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Here is a short overview:

I was literally listening to her interviewed about this last night!

Definitely! This well known debunker explains that itโ€™s most likely a balloon that is hit and explodes into fragments. The movement of the object is from the parallax effect where the recording camera is travelling at 200 mph and the ufo is midway between sea and camera creating the illusion of motion. The stats come into view at some point and he works the maths out. It really

Show me ONE video of a balloon reforming after being hit with a a missile. I'll wait.

Every ufology news pump is a basically a stunt. Deliberately (scary word) designed to exist on the edge of cultural comprehensibility. Every cosmic burp a riddle within a riddle that are like veracity vacuums specifically constructed to split our/the secular consciousness in ****ing half.

But the irony is there is an actual phenomena, AND you can verify it, in your lifetime. If you have the kahanos. It doesn't matter how many times some of us point this out 90% of people will never hear. But even of those that can, most may need to fall down, or have a stroke or something, first, some life changing shift of perspective, or you/we are vulnerable to the immediate dramatic shock of it. And why?

Imo (speculation)

It's because whatever 'this' is, ultimately. has direct, unfathomable reality MOD access. It's not aliens. It's not even God. It's bigger than even that. This thing, or whatever is driving it, can rearrange the f-ing universe dude; time, space, your thoughts, every thing, one way or t'other to whatever it deems fit. (As has been pointed out repeatedly by academics studying the esoteric panto: the supernatural and our relationship to it all often looks, objectively, like something is drip feeding baby rats lsd until they grow up big enough to have a conversation about what's actually outside the cage.. )

**** the matrix. The matrix is logical, non-chaotic and makes a kind of narrative driven, primitive sense to the ape brain. Whereas the real real, a.k.a. that which cannot even be imagined by our tiny minds, could be something much less palatable, instructive or safe. Without perhaps at least three millennia worth of psychology lube and some meticulously deployed seismic shocks.

Now here's Tom with the weather..

Interesting vid highlighting a mathematical study which indicates we may be the only intelligent life in the universe

Not sure if I agree though as another video from the reputable cool worlds channel, posted earlier itt also engaged in maths and bayes probability, which suggested there could be 36 alien civilisations in the milky way galaxy alone and this linked video kinda assumes that what happened on our planet must apply to everywhere else, whereas that may not be the case.

Happy new year!

Do you also get that feeling sometimes the Aliens might have left Earth in disgust because all of this Epstein stuff? I hear nothing no more!

This stuff all coming back into focus. Trump making news about it. Obama too.

Just jingling keys in front of the babies faces

I much prefer this distraction to starting a war.

Although he's a production man, so probably will do both...

Obama simply said he believes Aliens exist but saw no evidence they were visiting Earth or saw any evidence that the US government has spacecraft or bodies

That's not what he said.

Originally he alluded to there being classified info, then he walked that back.

Eta: ok that was actually in 2021

“When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air,” he teased to “The Late Late Show” host James Corden in a 2021 interview.

โ€œWhen it comes to aliens, there are some things I just canโ€™t tell you on air,โ€ he teased to โ€œThe Late Late Showโ€ host James Corden in a 2021 interview.

We're not talking about what he said five years ago, we're talking about his most recent comments, where he said:

"They're real but I haven't seen them They're not being kept in Area 51. There's no underground facility unless there's this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States," he added.

And later added:

"Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there's life out there. But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we've been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!"

So yeah that is what he said.

And lots of UFO reports since the later 40s have been classified, mainly due to being against the backdrop of the cold war, so Obama was hardly saying anything new here anyway.

Love space science and totally get the aliens fascination, but the extent some people are trying to will the most unsubstantiated and unlikely ideas into reality is incredible. There's a whole entertainment genre called science fiction that's the perfect place for that sort of energy.

Obama shouldn't have had to further contextualize and qualify his answer. I actually wish he hadn't, deep down I'm perfectly fine letting that special crowd infer whatever they want & waste their lives listening to stupid podcasts and examining "evidence" on YouTube

I looked into interstellar travel for my own Sci-Fi endeavors, and I gotta say it's pretty hopeless. If UFOs are real it's more likely they are from another time or universe than from another star we can see imo. Maybe robots/AI traveling dormant for millennia are still conceivable. Other than that you need some sort of Physics we don't even know about.

No, you see, reality is like a piece of paper that can be folded....

I think a part of the problem is that many people are so conditioned to the idea that there are workarounds for all the laws of physics if you're just advanced enough. I get why, it's necessary to fiction most of the time. In the Star Trek universe warp speed is no big deal, Star Wars you have Han Solo doing it in the sci-fi equivalent of a beater pickup truck.

Not saying things like faster-than-light travel or navigable wormholes could actually be possible, but from where we are right now I don't see any reason to just pencil that in as the default assumption. Even early as we are in understanding of the laws of physical universe there's a very good chance that there are some limitations. There's a clock on overcoming these things with the estimated age of the universe and we already know that the distances involved in relation to the speed of C are too massive for most people to wrap their heads around.

Or maybe I'm totally off and aliens have been hanging out, helping ancient Egyptians build big rock triangles and screwing with Air Force pilots. Except the ones that crashed of course, you know ones that travel 3, 000 light years just fine but can't stick the landing in Nevada (thankfully they slowed way down on approach).

Anyway, another pile of UFO docs being unclassified. Let me know if the "definitive proof" is any better than the previous "definitive proof" offerings. I'm actually getting kind of impatient about it tbh and would love to lose this argument some day.

Anybody ever play the first X-Com from the PS1 days? That game was the shit
