See his flailing around on the topic of the PIJ rocket. Victor is always going to think the worst of Israel. If he is partially right every once in a while, that is not evidence of being objective. The same groups that investigated the IDF's actions on 10/7 and determined they probably killed lots hostages also documented widespread atrocities committed by Hamas that Victor categorically denies.
Only believing things that confirm to your pre-existing biases is not objectivity.

I wasn't really talking about the Mufti. I was talking more about Nasser and Gadaffi and the Hussein's and the intellectual framework of Pan Arabism that developed before them. I assure you Pan Arabism occupied no moral high ground in ideology or in practice relative to Zionism. Which is a big reason why all the nations that have developed from the ideology mostly sucked.
It really is bizarre. Somehow the Arab's actually have the moral high ground in your viewpoint because they refused to take the Palestinians in. Whereas Israel took in all the Jews the Arabs had run out, so that makes them the bad guys.
I get the Palestinians are the ones that got the worst of it because Arabs suck. But that isn't Israel's fault. And plenty of MENA Jews lost everything and had to start from scratch in Israel, so it is not like the Palestinians are the only ones that had to play with a bad deck of cards.

All of the talk about pedophiles, most of the talk about rape, when people are talking about that kind of human trafficking in immigration (as opposed to for labor), the "rape gangs" of Muslims in Europe, and everything everywhere every time about sexual deviants and perversion and such...strikes me as hateful and fascist. If someone wants to be reasonable, yeah, there are cultures where women routinely get married at ages that are below the age of consent in other cultures, but the rhetoric (hysteria) around this kind of stuff isn't reasonable. Most sources say something around 5% of men are pedophiles. I expect that's based on some kind of psychological assessments and not actions, but that's 3 million people in the USA, 150k people in Israel, 50k people in Gaza, 12 million people in India, and 300k pedophillian Canadians.
