(not sure which campus was this btw)

can we all agree we have a moral imperative to do everything legal (and to change the laws to do more) to make sure this person is never again part of civil society?

If we agree this person (and everyone who is on board with that statement) deserves to spend a loooot of years in jail then we move from here.

Of course they don't belong in jail for writing words on a sign. You hate freedom so much.

I don't support what they say, but I think the things you say are far worse. I still would not have you jailed for it of course. But, I love freedom.

Israel isn't engaging in "kill 'em all". If they were, they could easily turn Gaza into a parking lot. They haven't.

Not how cause and affect work. Good try

by Luciom

Al qaida videos to enlist people in the organizations are banned in the USA though.

And incitement to actual violence is not protected by the 1a in general afaik, and asking "solidarity for rockets" is exactly that, am i right?

No you're not right. Solidarity doesn't imply anything other than thinking or saying something.

Honestly Lucium, the differences between you and a Maoist in the Cultural Revolution are shallow and the similarities run deep.

by Luciom

no i actually think that there are pro hamas people like viktor among the protesters, and they don't even hide it.

Exactly. The right needs guys who will take rightwing bullshit seriously. It lets the guys who are just being ironic fascists off the hook.

so your idea is that people saying 10 7 was a good event, or asking for solidarity for rockets, aren't pro hamas right i get it, you deny factual reality all the times about everything, why should it be different on this

Nope.

Also I'm not sure that an incitement to violence outside of US soil is an offence in the US?

But I see you've found another group of people you can send to a mass grave in your fantasies, and that excites you.

Only allowed to support Israeli and Ukrainian rockets

These criminals are gonna get arrested and suspended from school. Meanwhile, Israel is gonna do what it's gotta do. The only thing these pro Hamas folks have accomplished is making people hate Palestinians even more. Bye bye two state solution.

I agree, Israel never were going to allow a two state solution. That's why it's going to be river to the sea

Which is why Israel is wrecking Gaza.

Skipping past the evidence of a mass grave probably constituting a war crime during early-stage genocide supported by most posters here, let's watch some videos of protestors instead.

I have absolutely no idea what'a happening in the "mass grave" story. Vic has posted so many cry wolf's in here that I've literally given up on anything coming from him. If I have to go back and read something when the moment presents itself, I will.

I did come in this morning to post about a recent story happening where I live, in a city I do a lot of business in. In that city, people aren't just suggesting that Oct 7 was ok, but that it was admirable, necessary, and that we need more of them. That's in Canada!

We're about to swing HARD to the right up here, so I'm a little less worried than if this was perhaps 8 years ago. But still, that is INTENSE to read about in your own backyard. So I shared it in here with all of you. I hope that's allowed?

Well at least now it's perfectly clear, thank you.

I do think that every single person that helps convince the Palestinians that River/Sea is a sane and achievable goal, is actually helping them get killed. The longer the believe that makes any sense at all, the more willingly they walk into this eternal meat grinder.

It's worth pondering that possibility, if you haven't. It's easy to enable this fantasy. But there are real world outcomes from doing it.

I thought you were in France?

by Victor

It most certainly isn't, because that would be ethnic cleansing if not genocide and because Israel is too strong and has too many allies (including Egypt, Jordan and, informally, Saudi, as well as the US and the West Europeans), all of whom are inclined to support Israel against Iran and its various proxies.

I have 3 passports homes. I'd have 4 but the 4th one is sticky about letting you have that many.

If you're talking about the chant you posted it was one person who led about 5 people in a chant and maybe 2 of them were enthusiastic at all. I saw the video and it looked like a pretty big whiff on getting that chant going.

It's overwhelmingly likely that the mass grave was people killed by Israel, mostly airstrikes and then buried by people in Gaza and the notions on the one hand that it was Hamas who killed those Gazans or that Israel parked there executing people and burying them and there's no definitive evidence of that are both ridiculous.

I've not seen or heard that anywhere credible, nor would I suggest it. That's just silly imho. That's equally the sort of rumors we must ignore/squash.

That does not answer his question.

since the beginning of the war Israeli mainstream press has accused Hamas of killing its own civilians, esp during the displacement periods.

no doubt when people get sent on a Trail of Tears to the tents North of Rafah, these accusations will start flying again.

The earliest clear modern reference to "river to the sea" seems to be the 1977 Likud slogan "between the sea and the Jordan there will be only Israeli sovereignty.”

I'm not sure what sort of diabolical trap you simpletons think you've set, but if you've never heard of dual (or more) citizens, it's possible you shouldn't be trying to talk about worldly matters in here. Just a thought.

You guys will be really annoyed when I finish my Duo Lingo Spanish and start spending time in those countries. We'll see what silly lines of questioning come up then. Till then we need to talk about who chose animal names in Spanish btw. Either they make perfect sense based on French or Latin (or even English), or they make no godamn sense at all https://www.berlitz.com/blog/animal-name...

It's not a gotcha question, he's literally just asking you where you live.

So far I've mentioned I'm a French citizen. I've given you that much.

You guys weirdly obsessing over me is both flattering and creepy. Maybe significantly creepier than Vic, which is something. Vic keeps to himself, which I have to respect. I hope I even have a beer with Micro one day. I'd leave with all my organs intact and probably enjoy the experience.
