I'll provide you with an anecdotal post:
Most of the Nova kids were on drugs, it being a rave. So a lot on acid, which is very common in that scene. Lots of them still haven't come out of that state. They've gone more or less insane, after watching their friends slaughtered like dogs at close range for the simple crime of dancing at a rave. A lot of them are killing themselves behind the scenes now sadly, from not having been able to cope with being in the thick of that, on acid. I must admit as terrifying things to do go, that's near the top for me.

I'm telling you the psychotic break they're in hasn't ended, for a day. I obviously understand that chemically, the product has worn off.
They have essentially been committed under 24h supervision (in the extreme cases), in some sort of state I don't know the medical term for. PTSD and them some. But I know the amount of them killing themselves is alarmingly high. Like Iraq vets kind of thing. Apparently they still lack sufficient care too.
THAT scene, does a lot of acid. Which again, someone would know if they knew the first thing about that particular scene/place. Then you have people that know about a place exclusively from the little they see on X and Youtube.

I'm saying the fact they experienced THAT day, on acid, was far too much for their brains.
It's one thing to watch it all sober. It's another thing to watch it on cannabis for example. And yet another to be in that hell on acid. The ones that are this catatonic, the doctors are saying the acid played a part. Obviously you don't need acid to be catatonic. But 8 months later to be in the states they're in, is pretty extreme.
And btw Jal, in the Israel thread you mentioned a post where I was coming across as callous or almost gleeful. You're giving that vibe, here.

What's your general recommendation when someone essential denies you your own reality? I guess they call that gas lighting? If I ignore it then it just appears I agree with him. So I'm not sure what to do really. Him and a few others for months have wanted to explain my reality to me. It's very odd.
And I recognize the irony given the Vic stuff.
My recommendation is that you just stop with the personal addendums to your posts, and to let this go or you'll have some time to think about it on your own.

Interesting, you found it so important to fact check that claim; yet are so willing to accept Al Jazeera propaganda at face value to the point you are just copy pasting it into the I/P thread.

You can publicly disagree once, and then your position is clear. After that, it really is better for the forum and your own mental health to just let a lot of the stuff go.
I apologize for being short with you, Rafiki. I shouldn't have been so abrupt. Gangstaman is correct that disagreeing once and then letting it go is best for everyone, and you certainly aren't being singled out because it seems to be a bit of an issue with all of us, especially in the I/P thread.
