I have reported them, many times. Nothing has ever come of it. Even when I point them out and ask why they should be allowed. The only mod who has ever given me an actual reply to my questions is the one from another forum whom you have now intimidated away from further participation in this thread (according to him, not me).
Of course no one should be banned because others request it. They should be banned based on their entire history on the site.

Here is the post that has been mentioned by others ad nauseum in the thread. It was within the context of caring for children being killed in the conflict. I apologized afterward for the post being insensitive and I regret making it. I wasn’t a moderator at the time.

I met many people from the POG community over the years. Probably 15+. Several of them I saw repeatedly because I lived in Las Vegas and everyone would come for the series. One of the poggers I met and became friends with has dated Mets in the past. That does not make ME have a relationship with Mets, no matter how he wants to spin it.
It makes me deeply uncomfortable how familiar Mets claims and acts towards me. I do not know him. I have never met him. I don’t like how he insinuated a degree of closeness that is not there, and this has been an issue with him and other female posters across the span of many years.
I do not moderate Mets based on my knowledge of him. I am agnostic when it comes to penalties. The fact remains that escalating penalties have no worked with Mets, and now he has finally reached the end of the line.
He can come back when he is reformed.

right but he was banned for his posting in the IP thread specifically. so you are missing a pertinent piece of his body of work.
Rafiki has expressed a lot of frustration to me individually and has at least implied he shares the view that I have “chased away the Jews”, which was personally very upsetting to me.

There were 1000 cuts before you became green in that thread, and the impact of them was and is real. You simply arrived by the time the damage was done, and the last fairly reasonable posters simply had enough with constantly being called baby murderers and evil zionists (which is 9/10 jews for people keeping score).
It's not on you that we just finally mostly realized the best thing to do was avoid that level of toxicity entirely. So again, not on you.
