Moderation Questions
The last iteration of the moderation discussion thread was a complete disaster. Numerous attempts to keep it on topic failed, and it became a general discussion thread with almost no moderation related posts at all. And those that were posted were so buried in non-mod posts that it became a huge time drain on the mods to sort through them. Then, when off topic posts were deleted posters complained about that.
This led to the closing of the mod discussion thread, replaced by the post report/pm approach. This has filtered out lots of noise, but has resulted at times in the General Discussion Thread turning into a quasi-mod thread. This is not desirable, but going back to the old mod thread is also not a workable option.
Therefore, I have created this new moderation thread, but with a different purpose and ground rules than previous mod threads. The purpose of this thread is to provide a place for posters to pose questions to the mods about how policies are applied; to bring to the mods attention posts they think are inappropriate and reach the level of requiring mod action; and for mods to communicate to posters things like changes or clarifications to policies, bannings, etc.
Now let me tell you what this thread is NOT a place for. It is not for nonmoderation related posts, even if the discussion originates from a comment in in a mod related post. It is not for posters to post their opinions about other posters or whether a poster should be banned. It is not to rehash past grievances about mod decisions from months or years ago. The focus of this thread will be recent posts that require action now. Or questions about current policies and enforcement.
So basically, this is a thread to ask mods questions. Which means, pretty much that only mods should be answering those questions. If a poster asks why a particular post was deleted or allowed, only a mod can answer that. Everyone else who wants to jump in with their opinion or their mod war story needs to stay out of it. It just increases the noise to signal ratio and does nothing to answer the question.
Everyone needs to understand that this thread has very different rules than the old mod thread and any other thread. Any non-moderation post will be deleted on sight. Not moved to the appropriate thread, just deleted. So don't waste your time crafting a masterpiece post about wars or transgender issues or the presidential election and then post it in this thread. It will be gone. Also, this isnt a thread for general commentary about our mods performance. Posting "browser sucks as a mod" or any such posts that don't actually ask about a policy or request a mod action will be deleted. Everyone is entitled to their opinion about the moderation of this forum. But this thread isnt for complaining about mods. You are free to go to the ATF forum and make your concerns about modding in this forum there.
So with that intro, this thread is open for those who need to bring questions about mod policies or bring inappropriate posts to the mods attention. Again, it is NOT a thread for group discussions about other posters or for other posters to answer questions directed to mods.
We'll see how this goes. If you have what you feel is an open issue raised in the General Discussion Thread, please copy that post or otherwise reintroduce the issue here.
Thanks.
After a long night of making love, the guy notices a photo of another man on the woman’s nightstand by the bed.
He begins to worry.
"Is this your husband?" he nervously asks.
"No, silly," she replies, snuggling up to him.
"Your boyfriend, then?" he continues.
"No, not at all," she says, nibbling away at his ear.
"Is it your dad or your brother?" he inquires, hoping to be reassured.
"No, no, no! You are so hot when you’re jealous!" she answers.
"Well, who in the hell is he, then?" he demands.
She whisper
It's pretty disturbing and telling that this is the joke you would decide to tell.
What’s the post telling you mongdig
This response is pretty disturbing. Men participating in woman's sports is obviously not right. Children being allowed to have a surgical transition is horrific. How can a biologically born man know what it's like to live in a women's body? I can't imagine the level of regret these people must have when they find out it's not what they thought.
You do understand that there are almost no surgical transitions on children right? I believe the rate is something like 2 per 100,000 TGD diagnoses (and 0 on children 15 and under). Don't pretend to have empathy towards a group of people whose lives you are actively destroying with your politics. That is cretinous behavior.
It is interesting that the places in red on this map don't seem to have a male loneliness/loser epidemic. Seems like there might be a fairly simple fix to the problem if we ever decide it is warranted.

That being said, with some exceptions, this could also be a map for birthrates, where the countries in red are the only ones above replacement level. So quite possible mother nature will take care of things without us having to take any drastic actions. Demographics is destiny as they say.
Honest question. Why are you such a creep?

What is this map purporting to show? What does "most free" and "least free" mean for the purposes of this map?
I think you know the answer to that question already, Roc
And I’m not sure what you mean by “fixing the problem”. Incels are natural selection. If you can’t adapt to a world where you actually have to attract women instead of forcing them to be with you, then the problem is you and you should not be bred with under any circumstances. That’s just evolution at work.
And it always concerns me when the most free market people suddenly want to switch back to communism when it comes to pussy. Grow up. You’re not meant to be in the gene pool long term.

Hard to ague with that, but I'm sure our resident expert on evolution will nonetheless try.
It appears to be some bastardized version of the Freedom Index: https://worldpopulationreview.com/countr...

Anything showing Argentina as "least free" should be approached with healthy skepticism

Across the millennia, various studies found that approx 40% of men who reached the age of reproduction, didn't reproduce (20% of women).
There are occasional bottlenecks where that is a lot higher, and some moments when it's a tad lower.
There is nothing new about incels existing, and yes they will self-select (or will be selected) out of the gene pool.
What's unique with close to no precedent in human history is the recently ever-raising % of women who reach the age of reproduction and don't have children. We aren't yet as "completly unprecedented historical record throught time and geography" but pretty close.
That's self-selection as well, but it comes with the "slight" problem of inverted demographic pyramids if it prolongs in time (and population reduction, but that per se isn't necessarily a problem).
Now the ball is on the collectivist, leftist side, because at the end the libertarian right has a solution about how to fix an excessive number of old dependants who can't provide for themselves: let them die and move on.
I didn't expect crossnerd to favor a model of society where very rich people a la Musk have 10+++ children and a growing portion of normal men have none, with a growing portion of women having none as well, as it's very much antithetical to inequality reduction (it actually increases inequality), but at the end that can work as well (if we give up on welfare for old age and the disabled, that is).
The claim that none of those countries have a male loneliness epidemic is pretty bold. I'd love to know where it came from.
Can we get a Eugenics Containment Thread for Kelhus and his incessant claptrap?
