I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather be shot by Luciom than be rehabilitated at a Christian school. The ****ing dipso probably couldn't hit the side of a barn from 3 metres anyway.
Karl is a bit of a conundrum. I actually enjoy reading his subtantive posts. He isn't a mindless screamer. But every now and then, he gets off the chain and is so over the top that it almost seems like he is trying to get banned. I sometimes wonder if it is his way of self-banning when he needs a break for whatever reason.
yeah he occasionally has some good insights, his first post detailing my political mantra was absolutely spot on (even though he intended it as an insult) but then other times it's like he's having a debate on the short bus and thinks screeching at the top of his lungs is the best way to achieve victory

define hefty, given we have so many cases of people managing to get caught for violent offences 3,4,5, 10 times.
would you agree with life no parole at the third violent offense, no matter how "minor"? (violence includes anything against property)
and life no parole for armed robbery , rape, and any other clear cut highly violent crime you cannot commit "as a mistake"

This is specific to violent crime, right? Bc I do still occasionally partake in crime. There was actually a period in my twenties where I was doing crime every day, like multiple times a day. Some days the first thing I would do is wake up and do crime. Wake and crime is what we used to call it.

victimless crimes shouldn't exist, the state should be constitutionally barred from legislating something as illegal without a specific person (or his property) being damaged directly by those actions.
I've had reasonable exchanges with him at various times. But yeah, telling people to kill themselves is an autoban, as it should be, and that is the sort of thing that he makes no effort to avoid. That's why I said it almost seemed like an intentional effort to get banned.
But don't posts that result in an autoban get deleted? His post urging me to kill myself was still there as of several hours ago.

Hmm. What's it you Italians have for mafioso? 41 bis? Pipo Calo is locked up since 1985 for example and he doesn't seem to be getting compassionate release even in his 90s. Or El Chapo in ADX

Hellz no not for property that's a shade draconian.

I don't have a problem with life w/o parole for rape or armed robbery.
On the last instance it would depend on the circumstances. We're all capable of violence and murder and no case is uniform.

That practice varies from mod to mod. When I was a mod, I let virtually all terrible posts stand (unless the target asked for the posts to be deleted, which never happened) because I didn't want to be in the business of whitewashing bad posters by deleting their bad posts.
Yeah, we tried that. It doesn’t work and just pisses everyone off.
