I think love and marriage has always been overrated. Part of it was obviously driven by religion and money and support but roles are blending together, and I think those needs are being reduced.
If my wife left me, my life would suck, or at least take a hit, and I "think" that if I died my wife might feel the same. But we both need and want a lot of alone time. And I think most people need to learn to be happier alone, both without someone else or even social circles.
I think that desire for others is almost a sign of something missing that needs to be addressed.
We need each other to reproduce, everything else is added layers to make it more bearable.
The true fkd up thing is to think that and still chose to have a child.
Or you secretly think things will change when your kid's grow up?

If you look on twitter you might assume that women are simply vessels for having children and affirming alpha kings. Once they've had a few kids and age over 40 they then become targets of male ire.
Jennifer Love Hewitt would be the latest example of this phenomenon, having largely disappeared from the limelight around 2012 to have kids and be something of a trad wife. Now that shes making the marketing rounds for the new I know what you did last summer, shes getting dragged for being 45 and heavier than she was.
I get it, Twitter isn't reality, but its hard to get bombarded by sentiments and not internalize them to some extent
I wouldn't know I don't go on twitter and social medias, and it's pretty sad you would.

I think a lot more than that actually. Women should cease to reproduce with violent and/or maladapted men, and start ending some bloodlines.
I don't even know how to answer the question of whether I like women as a group. They are just part of the larger group of people, some of whom are great and some of whom are terrible.
I don't have a boss any more, but over the years, I would say that I have had a modestly better experience working for (and with) women as opposed to men. But that could just be LOL small sample size.

It's a fun thought, really. When we do talk about those other things and Luckbox talks about liking cats I'm like hell yeah I think I actually like this guy. Maybe I should actually go to the hockey threads and start posting. Hockey is such a huge part of my life and where I live now like NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I stg I live in hockey hell.

And when politics became the dominate discussion of everyday life as opposed to almost any time in the past, it doesn't seem all that surprising to have the level of disagreement that we have in the country.
