The last iteration of the moderation discussion thread was a complete disaster. Numerous attempts to keep it on topic fa
I live about 30 minutes from Estes.Longs peak is a pretty insane hike. Just don't fall off at the key hole.East Inlet is chill until you start climbing the mountain, but its on the west side of the park which I would recommend driving across trail ridge anyways. My next big planned hike is taking Ouzel falls up to Thunder lake and taking the boulder-grand pass to the east inl
My plans are definitely subject to change. I may not get up at 2AM to hike Longs peak. I may have to get up early to get to Bear lake before 5A since the timed entrees are sold out. I guess you can try to get one the night before. Lake Haiyaha looks fun too. I may spend a couple days in that area. I'll be coming in to Rocky from Glenwood Springs. The hamburger place looks good in Estes.
Thanks for the info.
I'll be honest, I never read any of his posts. I have ADD. It did seem like people enjoyed engaging with him though. That's what makes me wonder why he was banned. That's why I ask what harm he was causing.
He wasn't causing any harm. And many genuinely enjoyed engaging him.
But all that matters is what the mods think. We are all guests in the forum, and the mods and 2p2 owners can allow or ban anyone they want for any reason they want.

Haiyaha is better than than emerald lake imo
Rock slides in chaos valley often turn the lake turquoise

But it is capricious.
Which is fine and dandy, since mods working for free can mod anyway they want.
But please don't pretend that the ban wasn't capricious.
Lucy not any worse (or better) than Victor imo.
I wasn't commenting on this specific ban. I was commenting on the general principle that Luckbox was laying out. I don't know what contributed to Luciom being banned at this exact moment in time. I wasn't following his conversations at the time he was banned.
No ****. The problem is women have no way of knowing what any man is capable of and willing to do at any time, even if they've been a perfect gentleman(likely) up to the point that they're not. It's the clear reason women choose the bear, because they know exactly what to expect, even if it's worse than the average man.
Doesn't help that the percentage of these types of men isn't some tiny amount, like 0.01%. Is it 10%? 20% 30%? If you follow X, it appears to be close to 100%.
I'm going to miss Luciom, only because I would play a game where I would see a long post, not look at the user, and read the first couple lines to see if it was him or not. Usually, I was correct. Understand why he was banned, but not a huge fan of the action.

Thanks for the clarification.
And I apologize for saying "Don't pretend....." That wording implies bad-faith posting on your part, which I have never seen you do.

Thanks for the info, even if it wasn't for me. I'm outside of Boulder and my wife and I are planning a trip there in the next couple of months and this is really helpful information. We did hike to some fancy lake a couple of years ago but I don't remember which.

Masculinity exists in every woman as well.
Women who are wise realize the solution to toxic masculinity is to integrate and channel it productively, rather than live in perpetual fear of it.
craig does that include the divine female?

I’ll be sure to remember that the next time I’m worried a man is going to randomly stab me in the face, Craig. Thank you.
Is it antisemitic to deny the existence of antisemitism?
Is it antisemitic to deny the existence of antisemitism?
Liberals like CN are ok with this but lets ban Lucion for a question .
yeah thats a super antisemitic post.
But did you go through 225 of his I&P posts to find that from a month ago?
It's not too different than the people who say that "reverse-racism" isn't real or that black people can't be racist-- which is going to be at least a few people here.
nazism race baiting and woman hating are legal. Everything legal should be allowed to exist online and in real life.
He wasn't banned for asking a question, he was banned for being a divisive radical
Reverse-racism is just a non-sensical term. Racism is racism. And any race can be racist. What people mean when they say black people can't be racist it's nearly meaningless for an oppressed group to be racist because they don't control the system of oppression. Absolutely black people can be racist, but when they are it is far less harmful to those they are racist against than, for example, when white people are racist to black people, due to white people being the majority and, sadly systemically even today, the oppressors.
It's similar to "omg men can't have babies." Nobody thinks biological males can have babies. When people say "a man gave birth" they are quite obviously referring to a trans-man. It's just a difference in the way people are using language, not some horrible ideological difference. You can quibble about the terms with "I don't think trans-men are men" or "I don't think white people systemically oppress black people," but to pretend one side is just being so baffling illogical is disingenuous. It's either intentionally or unintentionally misrepresenting the actual argument.

is anti-white racism a real thing? ofc not. this is along the same lines. and ofc antisemitism is used a cudgel to justify Israel's crimes. just like anti-white racism was used by the Trump administration for justification to go after South Africa.
