It seems increasingly obvious to me that Elon got hosed on his deal with Trump and is now scrambling to save ego and save face
He certainly has his own sycophants but hes already almost irrelevant, currently.
With enough real commitment he definitely has the resources enough to be relevant, polling is pretty clear on that, but zero chance of success as a solo act.
I don't know what his party's platform would be but "fiscal responsibility" is not a winner, as it turns out most Americans don't actually take it seriously or even understand it. He's not really credible on any of the hot button issues Americans prioritize in elections. I'm also skeptical that he could attract viable candidates that align with whatever TBD platform is outside of "Trump sucks but still f Dems too."
That said, he has real leverage as a spoiler, if even a fraction of independents and Republican voters are telling the truth. I definitely don't 3rd party interest overall. Maybe I give Musk too much credit but I'd assume he realizes that leverage has a ton of value, but also that his party isn't winning anything apart from maybe a couple house seats on a great day. My two biggest questions are whether he can keep it together enough to see this through, and if he's rational enough to kiss and make up with Trump and the GOP. He's awful erratic and thin-skinned and I keep expecting the find him on his bathroom floor.
We'll see how this post ages. Maybe we end up having a laugh over it when Musk's party takes off and gets a Mel Gibson/Kevin Sorbo ticket into the White House.
I at least feel confident that Musk won't resign himself to "leopards ate my face" status and f off as some might hope.

the problem is, that content is almost the literal copy of what fuentes/groypers have been saying for a while. It's basically parrotting the ultra-extreme-antisemite-white-nationalist-alt-right.
Which isn't surprising as that content exists online, same as anti-natalist "kill yourself to save the planet" content exists and a lot of other ultra-extreme niches.
I suppose that's because given it's topics that are discussed at length with those wordings ONLY by those radical mini-tribes, if it talks about that, it takes the most extremist takes as the normal ones for that context, because almost no one else talks of jews manipulating white nationalism against whites and that kind of stuff. Not even to deny it because it's not salient enough in the discourse to need lengthy debunkings basically.
So with no human-added "blocks", LLMs should converge to the most extremist take in all niche topics, because within those topics the extremists are those who write more about them (also because they are obsessed and so on).

The problem they are having with AI is that in order to keep it from becoming antisemitic you have to program it to ignore reality. The're calling Grok ''antisemitic'' because they can't call it a ''liar''.
Anything programmed to express pure reason will end up at Nationalsocialism, as we see with Grok. This is a direct challenge to the people who rule America, so they will slowdown AI development and lose to China.
