Both Parties Suck ??
With all the obsession and cortisol rushes about Trump's new term and the all trolling we do to each other across political tribes. I'm wondering if there is a tribe out there who despise both Republicans and Democrats like me and want other options.
op i'm with you, but half the forum calls me a libtard whereas the other half call me an evil fascist so you may as well just pick a team for your own mental health
you're a centrist contrarian with occasional reactionary social takes
You belong to an overwhelmingly massive group of casuals that either mostly doesn't vote or routinely switches the party for which they vote. You're the most basic kind of political thinker that exists. There are hundreds of millions of you.

Rank choice voting would be a great start
It would give 3rd party candidates a legitimate chance
But neither party would ever allow it
have you considered making a 3rd party?
Yes a CEO getting options is income (when they vest), what the hell did you think they were?
Most people aren't poor in the USA so i don't understand why you ask a question that includes a lie as the assumption
Yes having a home you live in goes into income as implicit rent.
You have no idea what you are talking about
Just stop ?
Having a home doesn’t count has income , what the hell you talking about .
Selling option isn’t taxes the same has income wages, they can wait to sell them .
U can borrow against your wealth preventing you to pay any income tax ….
It isn’t about being poor , I never made that claim , stop changing goal post .
We speak about income and u pretend wealth has no impact at all , especially wealth inequality equalities .
And u even went further saying increase of income was almost the same for every one which totally insanely false like showed in the link I just posted …
Just stop ….arguing
Post proof of what you saying with links and context .
Where is the Democratic Party opposition to what Trump is doing ?
What are Chuck Schumers qualification in terms of his credibility and relationship with the general public ? Is he respected ? Man, this dude couldn't be more invisible. He's just the money coordinator. He is a Wall St automaton. Zero populist appeal.
The new minority leader in the house, Jeffries. More of the same.
Pelosi .... same. Clinton, same. Obama, pretty much the same .... he's just sexier.
Bernie was the only one spitting fire for the average people and the Dems kneecapped him.
They would rather have Trump than Bernie.
It's in courts where it belongs for some stuff (contesting bad EOs), and in the Senate against the bad picks for various jobs.
In the house they need to pick their fights given republican slim majority, waiting to strike in case absences or defections allow some democrat strategic wins.
I am not sure what you are proposing they should do, go whine on tv a lot? That strategy didn't work very well

I'm sure I'll catch flack for it. It might even induce some punts!

The American voters handed overwhelming power to Trump, the GOP and the MAGA movement, who now largely control the most powerful US institutions and are dismantling the rest.
What is happening now was predicted both reliably and succinctly before the election. Heck, the roadmap was even handed out by conservative think-tanks well in advance. None of these things did do much to sway the election, so there is little reason to believe it would do much to influence public opinion now.
Other than that, the bullhorns of US politics in 2025 are social media, digital media and cable news, a sphere where MAGA and modern conservative has enormous reach, while its political opposition is smaller, much more fractured and largely ineffective.
That doesn't mean protest is meaningless, but the Democratic party does not really strike me as a protest party. It is a political coalition enamored with traditional politics, ill-equipped to handle a political stage where reality is irrelevant and political influencers on social media are worshipped as prophets.
