Regular Run of the Mill NO LIST Codenames!
Post if you want in, ideally 8 people but the normal game - guess your stuff and ideally go fast bolding away a guess at a time(Snapguess + guess + etc). Spirit of the game is to just bold away at what you think, keep 0-1 max backup and go quick.

Bill - grab the bill; more grab the check and cash grab over bill grab, so weakish
Carrot - can grab, but not great
Crown - meh
Draft - grab a player in the draft? weak
Glove - pretty good
Hood - grab a hood like grab a shirt, but that's more grab a hoodie
Match - grab a match to light a fire
Pan - pretty good
Ruler - grab a ruler to measure something

I could see grab and press as something; was thinking press was more the opposite of grab, but you do grab and press some things
and you can grab slugs from the garden; more pluck, but grab can work
so throw those 2 somewhere in that 3rd tier I guess
i think you hold more of these things than grab, so there has to be something more to it than stuff you could put in your hand

i'm OK with grab and press, but don't love it; but don't love anything that's left
I still think that you "grab a match so we can light this cake" or "grab a ruler so we can measure this" so I like those but not gonna die on their hills
I'm not too swayed by hold vs grab because you "hold a dance" and "hold a draft" so those could be reasons for grab clue instead of hold for glove/pan/match/ruler
